    Beautiful sound! How do you like the bass with 2A3 tubes?

      I'm using bookshelf speaker only, so bass maybe just enough. Need to test with bigger full range to observe more. Thank you.

    I like how it reproduces the music and congratulations for the recording, I also bought the same amplifier that will arrive in days, I hope it also performs well with classical music. I wanted to ask you which are the driver valves you have used and the speakers of your system thank you

      Hi Guido, I use RCA 12AU7 Clear Top. For speaker, you can see my other video with Accuphase amplifier. I use the same speaker for testing. Good luck on your amp!

      Guido, How did you like it with classical and what speakers have you used with it? Im about to place an order for the 8900 myself and a bit worried how it will perform with orchestral etc, about a third of what a listen to! thanks

      @@lsantista1481 I just now saw your question. With Elekit
      I feel very well now a year has passed and when I want to listen to music well I use elekit 8900 almost exclusively classical concert or symphonic music. My set includes as source (Yamaha CDN 301 or Raspberry and PIA2S board for Liquid music) I use a RME AD2 dac, for the speakers on the elekit I use Lowter PM6A, I also used a two-way reflex tower speaker (Atlantis by A Bellino ) which I use only with the 300b valve but with the Lowters I like the 2A3 valve better, the bass is missing a bit but the correctness of the whole and the musicality is special.

      @@guidoboselli7580 thanks so much! the 8900 + 8550 will be here in February on March only. Maybe by them I will have more sensitive speakers. Best, L

      @@lsantista1481 with speakers of at least 92-94 dB of sensitivity you have a great result even on the bass in rooms that are not too large

    Hi Jimmy! Did you upgrade the 8900 with the lundahl transformers? Is it worth it?

    • @jimmysjunkyard
      @jimmysjunkyard  Год назад

      Hi BC, I bought Silver output transformer from J&K for TU-8900.
      ruclips.net/video/gI1QnJQAipo/видео.html
      I'm pretty sure Lundahl is better than the original one.
      Thanks.

    the sound is good the question is is the sound of the amplifier or the sound from the cd is input to youtube? the amplifier is only for display images only? maybe it will look real if the recording is not silent, meaning you can play the volume of your amplifier, also show the speakers you are using to make it appear that the amplifier is sounding, and it looks real

      The system used already shared in the description. It was recorded with Zoom H1 live from the speaker.
      I feel showing the Korg display is much better than showing the amplifier (as the amp itself wont change during the recording).
      Also if you listen carefully, you will hear some ambient sound captured by Zoom, like me moving around, clicking sound when I'm pressing the button to select the track, etc...
      Thank you.

      @@jimmysjunkyard Thanks, it's a really transparent and detailed sounding 300B. I presume the NFB was on here? This is also standard tranformers not Lundahl?

    • @jimmysjunkyard
      @jimmysjunkyard  2 года назад +1

      If I remember correctly, I set non-NFB during recording as I connect direct to source, hence needed more gain. Yes, standard transformer.

      Yes, I'm using 300B now.
