Last summer I got E100 as my first tier10 after 2000-3000 battles total because of the warhammer skin. While it feels good to bounce 5k damage per game, I think it's difficult to play, not that strong and too unique due to its hight and angles. My second tier10 shortly after was 60TP and that's the tank I learned how to play with, because it forces you to make deliberate choices with the gun and the armor is pretty reliable but similar to many other tanks, so you can adjust the playstyle to other tanks too.
u need good skills to make the e100 work i was struggling with e100 too it was my first t10 i got it 3 years ago but after some time i mastered the angling skills of it and now i enjoy playing it my max blocked dmg in e100 is 12k
By the time you reached E100 you'd have learned how to angle its turret from previous tanks. Sure it's not that easy like a 279e would, but you would have learn how to play similar tanks down the line...

Quite frankly I agree with this list. Some people claim tanks such as the O. 277 are the best option, but I disagree (no gun depression and less forgiving hull armour). I haven't done the grind for the IS 4, but seems more beginner friendly that the 277 or the IS7. As for the E100, maybe it isn't meta, but it can work fine and the line is quite good, starting with the VK 36.01. I wonder if the Maus line up to the VK 100.01 (stop there) wouldn't be a good option for beginners? Haven't tried myself, but the VK 100.01 has solid armour at tier 8 and seems to be the tier 8 tech tree heavy with the greatest WR. Not heavies, but I also enjoyed the American TD lines, both E3 and E4 (stoped at the T30 in that one).
@@ihaveadream7858 for beginners? Not necessarily true. Often for more experienced players and certainly for very good players. For beginners, speed may just result in dying faster. A more experienced player is better able to make those tanks work, because he will have a better reading of the team from start and the changing conditions of the match.
Another gold-tank = Charioteer. I have 2 MOE on that shooting gold all the time. Pen is worse, but alfa is so much better. High rolls over the 500 Not really beginner friendly though, slow turret paper tenks.
I'm surprised by the IS4, but I love it. My first TX and I have an above average winrate and lots of good games in it. It's really very beginner friendly!
This is definitely a great list of tanks even if your not a beginner these tanks are fun and perform good. My first tier X was actually the is7. Ive loved it since the first drive in it though I feel like it's been power crept over the years by new tanks but I still take it for a spin here and there and still have good games in it. My buddy would prob have a different list lol besides the is4 as that was his first tier X.
For me and my playstyle, the 60TP was really new-player friendly. IMO it was a very good (although not OP) line to grind from Tier 6 to Tier 10. In other words, no turds to impede your grinding progress. Despite "lower" pen values on standard rounds at times, I never really had issues with them not penning. I am not F2P, but was able to grind with minimal gold rounds (always took 5). Everyone is different, your mileage may vary. I love the E100 too, but if you don't know how to angle German super-heavies, you will struggle until you learn how. IMO, the E75 is probably a little better tier-for-tier. I don't have the IS-4 (only at the tier 8), so I am not sure about it, although i have never seen anything that would indicate it is not new player friendly.
Does this list also mean that the tanks in the line before the tier X are good as well? Because imo the most important thing for a beginner is, that all tanks in the tree line are good
Index is priceless. Don't know what the upcoming tank on your grind is going to be like? Index. Don't know what equipment will help your tank the most ?index . If your not using it your at a huge disadvantage .
I really loved the IS-4 with turbo+hp+rammer during the Onslaught event. 60TP was also good, but tbh ... SConq >> E100 during that event. PS: Maus + open map = bounce fiesta. In holidays i had to do a lot of bounces and i decided to take Maus, went lakeville mid in t8-10. :) 21-22k bounced if i remember right and 5k+ combined.
60TP? Well, yes, but actually no. I personally didn't find this tank that good, since it can be overmatched reliably and the ammorack is extremely annoying
I very much disagree with the E100, you really really gotta angle it ALL the time or its armor might as well be butter, there are other tanks that are WAY more beginner friendly imo.
Imo, 60tp is very hard for new players, bcs it has many weak points to hide, and low penetration on both shells, and having heat instead of apcr on premium slot, which means you need to have a lot of knowledge about enemies overmatchable points and weak spots and spaced armor. Also bad gun handling which needs some experience with it. Needless to say, bad for f2p, but not the worst.
I can agree on is4 and 60tp, but e100? It is a joke - armor lasts as long as long it takes to press "2" button on the keyboard, it requires knowledge how to angle (surely begginers will know it...) and top gun is either credit burner or you need to know the weakspots (again, noobs won't know that). To me number 3 should be is7 - trollish armor, still decent alpha and you have russian rng onboard. You can't go wrong with it really.
haha shitting on E100 gun and recommending is7 which has prob the worse gun in tier 10. E100 is alright, it will teach you how to trade, you dont need to try bouncing anything on that tank. You peak, take a hit, shoot for 750, it has a lot of hitpoints and will bounce somethin, its really great for trading
Arguably if you get to E100 thru tigers and e75 without learning how to angle, then you shouldn't be at E100 anyways. I know it says beginner friendly and this tank indeed requires some particular knowledge of game mechanics like angling, BUT you also have to consider the whole line plays that way cos of their flat front and turret. I do agree on the gun tho. It burns a lot of credits for the HEATs especially if you dont pen or rng trolls you.
I agree. Espeically as a new-ish player myself the e100 feels like a noob trap. You don't angle your armor like that in any other tank afaik, and the grind felt miserable because you don't actually have good armor until tier 8 or 9.
Welcome to the game One tip: For beginners the most difficult thing is usually not the tank selection but the game mechanics and positioning. I suggest to not forget these two dimensions.
Completely disagree on the 60TP. It's probably my most epic fail tank, almost every time. I get killed EASILY in it, somehow, and i rarely hit or pen with it. One of my absolute lowest scoring tanks.
Does it exist beginner friendly arta.I ask because when he hits me in my t 78, and takes 80% of my hp - they don't look like that at all beginner friendly.😕
Minotauro: Idiot proof armor from tier 7 up Amx M4: Whole line epic tanks except tier8 60Tp: Whole line all above average Vz55: no real downer in the line (until Bz came around and ruin every game for low tier) E100: I would have recommended this line but playing tiger these days is pure argony, and new players will most likely get slap in the cheek every single time Kran: tier8 to 10 same play style, gun may feel bad for good players, but having the turret armor is forgiving as new player.

I don't have the IS-4 (only at the tier 8), so I am not sure about it, although i have never seen anything that would indicate it is not new player friendly.
Learned a lot from this thanks
🤣 The less hit points, the less points for the pro players to milk!
Does this list also mean that the tanks in the line before the tier X are good as well? Because imo the most important thing for a beginner is, that all tanks in the tree line are good
You should do this with other tank types, good content.
We need best beginner TDs with Bobject at the top of the list
Nice vid Skill will you be doing the same for med / light / TD? keep the vid's coming
Nice idea skill, good effort
Thank you Skill U cheered my day
its my pleasure
Index is priceless. Don't know what the upcoming tank on your grind is going to be like? Index. Don't know what equipment will help your tank the most ?index . If your not using it your at a huge disadvantage .
I struggle to play with 60TP and E100. This tells me how much still I have to learn to play with heavies....
Some great games and advice here Skill.
You should do this for prems too. In store tanks available for gold and then the rest that come up in the store only for cash
For me the 3 tanks are : IS-4 , E- 100 , AMX M4 54
I really loved the IS-4 with turbo+hp+rammer during the Onslaught event.
60TP was also good, but tbh ... SConq >> E100 during that event.
PS: Maus + open map = bounce fiesta.
In holidays i had to do a lot of bounces and i decided to take Maus, went lakeville mid in t8-10. :)
21-22k bounced if i remember right and 5k+ combined.
This is a great idea Skill!
If you want more Ideas for Videos, you can still do Map Guides Skill. PLS!
I missed this one completely. My prediction was S Conq, IS-7 and something else.
60TP? Well, yes, but actually no. I personally didn't find this tank that good, since it can be overmatched reliably and the ammorack is extremely annoying
This is good video. Helpful. Thanks.
more like this coming, i see people like it!
@@skill4ltu Yes, I played all of your choices, and used your setup and had a lot of fun today. Thanks.
Always ready for your dose of skill!
skiiiiiiiill, would you do the baboon dance with an fv4005?
I very much disagree with the E100, you really really gotta angle it ALL the time or its armor might as well be butter, there are other tanks that are WAY more beginner friendly imo.
I’d put IS7 before E100 imo.
nice mark on Obj 279 e beginner friendly 5 stars :) :) :)
I miss the old tech tree reviews
I might be crazy, but I thought the pen on is 4 was like 217 standard and 270 prem.
I just wish KV4 wasn't so bad. Maybe I'm bad, but I feel like I can't rely on his armour, although saying that people use gold ammo so idk
5:22 skeeel we would like u to call it jug peeezda pls
Sixty ToiletPaper presented us with the HE-nerf, but You had to include it for Vivi.
But skiiiiiiill, in a old video (3 years ago) you told the tech tree of 60 TP was not good to grind, but in your index he is epic
Beside the LFP, E100 actually have better effective frontal armor than a Maus lol
if my memory serves me well is that the is4 was a tier 9 ht then is7 tier 10
What the skin on type 5 heavy
I used Skill index since the day I was born. Very useful
Super Conqueror, IS-4 and IS-7
Thank you skill! These videos are very helpful!
I love how chill Skill is when playing. Unlike some other streamers.
Tanks are beginner-friendly until enemy know where to shoot you
Or load the gold :D
Thoughts on ST-II?
IS-4 was at its best when he was tier 9. Even though I love it still.
I would of thought that because of the need to angle the E100 turret it was not a great beginner tank?
I agree. Espeically as a new-ish player myself the e100 feels like a noob trap. You don't angle your armor like that in any other tank afaik, and the grind felt miserable because you don't actually have good armor until tier 8 or 9.
Is that ultramarines skin on e100?
yes
E100 big gun just simply not working for me :(
Its true, Im a new player on the EU server and Im struggling a lot. So thanks for these videos
Welcome to the game
One tip: For beginners the most difficult thing is usually not the tank selection but the game mechanics and positioning.
I suggest to not forget these two dimensions.
Completely disagree on the 60TP. It's probably my most epic fail tank, almost every time. I get killed EASILY in it, somehow, and i rarely hit or pen with it. One of my absolute lowest scoring tanks.
It died with the HE-nerf it brought for all of us.
@@unbekannternr.1353 And i got it just before the HE-nerf so i barely even got a chance to test it like that.
@@DIREWOLFx75 Ego Te absolvam in nomine Patri et Filii et Spiritu Sancti...
I got P44 Pantera the day before WG removed the rammer from autoreloaders...but grinding through the polish dogtree is something completely different!
When you started the video talking about beginners I honestly thought it was going to be tier 1 through tier 3 tanks for beginner players…
Does it exist beginner friendly arta.I ask because when he hits me in my t 78, and takes 80% of my hp - they don't look like that at all beginner friendly.😕
All arty is beginner friendly, fun and relaxing. :)
Minotauro: Idiot proof armor from tier 7 up
Amx M4: Whole line epic tanks except tier8
60Tp: Whole line all above average
Vz55: no real downer in the line (until Bz came around and ruin every game for low tier)
E100: I would have recommended this line but playing tiger these days is pure argony, and new players will most likely get slap in the cheek every single time
Kran: tier8 to 10 same play style, gun may feel bad for good players, but having the turret armor is forgiving as new player.
