Yeah, I was about to say. After only a couple videos I kind of have the feeling I know her mom already! I bet their on-cam interaction would be pretty hilarious :D
I almost mentioned this the other day! Maybe have a game night video with your mom and hubby. Let us see what your typical gaming experience is like! Don’t worry… you will always be my fav! (Unless your mom is an amazing gaming goddess) 😂
I've been watching a lot of small game videos since I need to downsize my collection so it's great to see some unique picks. I really enjoy the relaxed energy in the videos
My wife doesn't like card games much but enjoys Oh My Goods from Lookout. It's a surprisingly involved game for something in a tiny box. It probably captured her imagination because, when I introduced it to her, she was playing a digital game involving production chains.
Another Grandpa Beck game that's fun is Toil and Troublez. Don't know if you've played the game PUSH, but it's similar but with added "powers" some cards give you. I would HIGHLY recommend Knarr. You'll love the artwork and it is a game with simple rules, plays fairly quickly, and offers interesting decisions. Keep spreading the love!
Thanks so much for the suggestions, I'll for sure add them to my wishlist!! I've heard a ton of good things about Knarr. That is one I'm super interested in!
I really like this video! I would suggest also Nimalia : D it is like cascadia but in a smaller box and slightly different vibe but similar (very thinking though)
I discovered your channel yesterday and I’m hooked! I’d love to see a video eventually about your favorite children games (especially for non readers). 😁
Based on this video I'm not sure you would like the Tiny Epic series. I'm certain you'd love the meeple aspect, but they are complicated dense heavy games with a lot going on. They are very very deceptive. I think they try to have an easy entry, and they certainly have a high ceiling. Like Vikinkgs has "on your turn you do one thing, but if you plan your turn right you can get enough combos to do 4 things" I absolutely love them, but they don't have anywhere close to the same feel as the games in this video
@@AfterEvenfall I love the Tiny Epic Series, and with in their lineup they have quite the variety by themselves. It's impressive. I've just had a decent amount of trouble convincing people to play them. There's something of a mind set that most people seem to have that small box games should be small games And these can get big and long and have slightly vague rules. in particular it's that they have a simple starting premise and then several little ways to make it more complicated and then you'll have a turn that's so complicated that there seems to be nothing in the rules to explain how it actually all works out
If you want to try a Tiny Epic game, I highly recommend Tiny Epic Galaxies. It has a cool follow mechanism where you can spend a culture on another player's turn to copy the action they rolled. I also like Tiny Epic Zombies, but I can see that one being hit-or-miss with people. Also, Tiny Epic Pirates uses the Rondel mechanism really well, but overall fell flat for me (at least at 2-player... might be better at higher player counts). Didn't really appreciate TE Dungeons or TE Dinosaurs. Mountain goats sounds like a lot of fun.
I purchased Tiny Epic Kingdoms and Quest before I knew anything about the games, and I need to get them to the table! So many people say that TE Galaxies is the best out of all of them!
We'll need an episode with your mom as a guest at some point! I feel like that would be very entertaining.

Haha she's been dying to get on and tell stories about our childhood games :)

I feel like you are right. I keep trying to get her to let me on.
Unfortunately for me, she is totally a gaming goddess!

Love the small box game recommendations! They are so much easier to get my family to buy into instead of larger games
I totally agree!

I’ll check it out, that sounds like fun!
I think cat in a box is a fantastic and novel small box trick taking game.
I need to try it! :)

I wish I too had parents that appreciate my hobby and don't just think I'm immature playing games.
Haha it's only one parent like that on my end. My dad thinks games are silly, too, if that helps at all ;)

I'll have to add it to my list! I love thinky games!
I agree about Nimalia. My family loves Cascadia and I find Nimalia to be a thinkier version of it. I really enjoy it. Quick and easy to teach.

Thanks for the idea! I have a bunch I could definitely recommend, I'll definitely plan on making that video!
Mrs. Mom Evenfall sounds legendary.
She definitely is!
I like how consistent you are with the videos! And you already reached 2K subscribers! You’ll have a lot more in no time! 🎉
Thank you so much!!

Haha I try to cover a good variety of games, and I look forward to trying the Tiny Epic Series!

Sorry I really like these games and I get a tiny bit too into talking about them
I have been thinking about Mountain Goats. I got Skull King, but not played it yet.
Mountain goats is a crack up if you're playing it with the right people! :)

Wow I haven’t heard of those games, I’ll leave to check them out. Thanks 😊
I hope you enjoy them! :)
Have you tried Sea Salt & Paper? A new favourite of our family.
I haven't yet, but it's on my list!
I love Wizard and Skull King!!
Great video! Thankyou 🤘🏽
Is there a particular genre or style of game your husband prefers?
My husband loves racing and area-control style games best. The more direct engagement between players, the better (for him)!
Okay you’re gorgeous! Also I’m a huge small box game fan and added a couple of these to my wishlist!
Haha you're too sweet, thank you!! ;)
Good video ! I will like to see you play game on video :)
😍😍😍
home girl pumping videos out
Haha I try!
