- Pt 2 of 3, this tutorial will show you how to remove the door panel, door handle and lock and a brief removal of the lock actuator and door latch from 1996-2000 Honda Civics all models

Locked my keys in my car, used a coat hanger wire and broke that green plastic clip on the key cylinder plate. Honda charged me almost 50.00 for a complete new key cylinder with the green plastic piece.
This detailed video helped me a lot. Thank you.

Thanks a ton. I just got a 98 Civic Ex with 3 keys lol. Was wanting to go to a salvage yard and grab all 5 locks from another ex to make mine all one key. Now I feel more confident about getting the locks out.

i went to barrys u pull it over the weekend and i couldnt get that handle off to save my life.. the handle on my 96 coupe is broke so now i know how to get it off.. i wish i would of watched this video while i was at barrys, i left the handle on that car at barrys hanging out of the door lol.. thanks for the video brother..

Thank you so very much. I couldn't figure out how to do it. I couldn't do it with a flat head, instead I used a small L wrench to press it down and after many tries it finally popped off!

I used a pick tool to get the lock pin half way out.Then I used a flathead screwdriver 🙌🏾 FYI it was a pain in the you know what 🙄
Bro, I used a hammer "I got so frustrated" the used time I found this out.. 😅 obviously it was a donor door. Hope the vid helped.

I cannot replace the rear door handle when the manuals says remove 3 screws and push down the latch, been hours tried but the latch wont move and still blocking. Can you help make video?
nice video, but i have a question for you, my driver side is broken and the passenger side is ok , can i swap the passenger side to the driver side?

Hey i replaced it thanks but now my power door lock doesnt work. It wants to lock but doesnt fully lock. It stays half way. Idk what is keeping it from locking it all the way. The rods are correct. Plz help
