In this video, 1A Auto shows you how to remove or replace the interior door panel trim on your vehicle. You need to remove the door panel for a number of different repairs, for example door handles, window regulators, power window motors, door locks and more. This video applies to the Honda Civic, years 96, 97, 98, 99, and 00.

This is different than the '99 2-door. The panel that pulls off under the door handle doesn't exist. And the door latch is different.

¿Where can a buy new door panels? For a 2 door Honda Civic 98 Ex......Both right and left.

You may want to check the wire harness that goes between the door and body of the vehicle for a broken or frayed wire that might need to be repaired. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Good video! Only because after watching, I was able to open the 2000 civic door panel! Thanks! ( my process: "Hand rest panel" next to the 4 window control button is very tight and hard to pull off. the harnesses connectors are hard to pull. )

I have a 2000 civic ex and there are multiple different components than what is in the video
I loved the video. I have an issue with my 2000 honda civic 4dr, none of the windows or locks work in my car and also the driver side audio front and back has stopped working but the passengers still works. Before all of this happened, one day my windows stopped working so I checked all fuses but they were not blown. Long story short. My windows and locks worked when my driver door opened all the way, then it stopped one day but found out that it was the wire running from the door to the car being pinched when I closed the door. I was wondering how I go about fixing it. I'm no electrician but money tight. Thought u might have any ideas.
Thank you for watching. You are going to want to cut the effected wire out and splice in a new longer wire so it does not get pinched.

My window came off track and this is the same exact panel on my 97 Civic. Glad I found it otherwise probably would have damaged something. Have to figure out how to put window on track now.

Buy removing the door panels on my 1999 Honda Civic LX and putting them back on wat would be the reason for all the windows except for the driver side is the only one that go down wat can it be ???

I went out to my car (1997 Honda Civic Coupe) and unlocked the door with a key. And now my door won't open... Even from the inside. I can lock and unlock but the door won't open. Any way I can fix this?? I'm broke so mechanic is no option at the moment?

Hi, I have a 2000 Honda Civic LX and only my drivers side window goes down. When I press the buttons for the back windows on the master switch, they move a few inches then they stop and shake. The passenger side button and window has no movement or function at all. Could that be a bad fuse? Thank you in advance
+Chubb Rubb It could be a bad fuse or a bad switch for that side. It is tough to tell though.
@@1AAuto I changed out the fuse for the passenger window and still no sound or movement. I sprayed silicone spray in the back windows and they are working fine now. Should I replace the master switch or just the passenger switch?
