Rinoue1 I worked with United last summer as a temp. They have nice people who work for United. Sorry about the incident two months ago. Also CPD dragged the doctor off. Anyway, United apolgizes, I apologize. Let us get over this and move on with our lives and try to make a better society.
1990s were amazing! That wasn't CPD. Those were Department of Aviation thugs that United called on board. They may be moonlighting cops from another area, but they were not acting under CPD when they did what they did. From now on, due to this situation, CPD is supposed to take main jurisdiction in situations that require police boarding airlines at Chicago airports. CPD does not have a great reputation either, but let's call a spade a spade.

Mike is really quite cute overall, though his looks are not the killer type.
ANA is the best airline I've flown so far. I didn't know about their company policy about not accepting gifts so I brought American candies/chocolates and handed it to the crew when I boarded but they had to give it back because of that policy. They couldn't take it at all. But I explained on my note inside the bag that it was my first time to Japan and it was my lifelong dream coming true. They made me a dessert, similar to what they gave you with a handwritten note and origami as well.
I got super emotional, almost cried. I will never forget it. ANA crew is the best.

I got to fly them last year, and you are a 100% right. Their service truly reflects Japan's culture of providing an amazing product and service. Don't get me wrong, there are rude customers in the US, but I wish we saw service comparable to Japan with how they want to make sure they deliver what you paid for.
If you had done that in United they would’ve nocked you out
Don't get confused about ALL Japanese culture being perfect. If you are dark skinned they will treat you like crap.
@@leftydiablo Thankfully that wasn't my experience when I went last year. I wasn't treated poorly but people definitely gave me second looks and were intrigued but I expected that as being a black woman in Japan.
While other airlines are beating up their passengers including mothers with children, there is at least one airline with very nice people and good service. Too bad other airlines don't have this type of service.

The Japanese airline is exactly what I expected it to be. The Japanese have never disappointed me in food quality or customer service. They put effort into their craft and I appreciate that.

My first time flying to bangkok they gave me headsets for the monitor thing on the seat (it has games,music,movies,cartoons,documentaries,the menu, and some random series of shows) and then after 30 mins in the air they started wheeling out free lunch for all the passengers.
Also the remote doubles as controler for the on flight games
your flight to narita was on a 777, and bangkok a380. generally quieter on the second deck.
I am not the biggest Asian food fan, but I always enjoy watching your videos! You make us feel like we're on the trip with you.
Mikey next time you travel to bangkok go to the fourseasons bangkok hotel its 100$ a night but its another level of luxury(for a reasonable price) greetings from Bogotá

My family flew ANA to Thailand as well. We sat in economy and no one introduced themselves and the food looked nothing like that. I love watching your vlogs to see how the "other people" live. I can't wait to do my first vlog. It will be this January. We're flying to Bora Bora and Tahiti. I loved the Japan ladies rooms. The cleanser strip for your phone in the stall and a place to sit your kid while you're "busy".
Thai Airlines is one the most attractive and famous airline Thailand.The service in the airline is too much good and provided with quality of food.The crew behavior is friendly and customer oriented.

You were first on a Boeing 777 on ANA and while being a very comfortable aircraft the Airbus A380 which was the aircraft you were on aboard Thai Airways is the worlds largest passenger plane (which is why it was a double decker plane on the whole plane!) anyway it is also the quietest passenger aircraft so yes it was different! Pilots and flight attendants have said it was so quiet they couldn't sleep!
The background noise is kind of loud, so I think that you said you had “awesome ramen” last time, but the english auto sub said you had “awesome vomit.” 🤣

Fly Jfk to lax out TG to bkk wonderful Svc TG used to fly JFK to bkk non stop over the polar route but alas not enough passengers booked so this service was halted in July a few years ago na ka Meechai

Always stuff your bag with lounge food!
Thai used to fly LAX-BKK, first direct and recently with a stop in Seoul before they discontinued the route. These lounges in the U.S. are horrible. The Star Alliance Lounge in LAX TBIT is the only acceptable one in the entire country.

Arriving in Tokyo to catch a connecting flight is annoying. You're tired after such a long flight then you have to stand in line to go through security scanners. There is a sign in English stating they are doing this for "your own safety." You would think security at your departure point did a good job not letting you board the plane with guns so there's no need for this hassle upon arriving in Japan. Singapore is the same only thing Singapore has no sign with an apology.
Try Garuda Indonesia, they offer Indonesian, Japanese, and International menus on flights to and from Japan
The reason the Thai Airways jet was so quiet is because it was an Airbus A380. A380s are known for being very quiet inside.
That hotel room was only $100.00 a night?! OMG!!! In Toronto that kind of room would be a "hotel residence", rooms set aside for people who have to spend a long time in town for business. A nice little kitchenette, a washer/dryer, a little living room separate from the bedroom. My brother has had to stay in places like that when he has to change cities for work, and he hasn't found a permanent place to live. By having the kitchen "on site", he actually saves money by being able to bring in groceries and cooking for himself.

Dude, is a carry-on ALL you take. Wow. Wish I could pare it down to that. Holy cow! Is JAL out of business (Japanese airlines)? The restaurant next to my mom's USED to supply the meals for JAL, until the chef left and stole the account. It's now a Chinese restaurant. There went the Japanese gardens and the servers in kimonos and sukiyaki made right in front of you :( I'm a foodie like you, bro!
Ok, Mike, I have to ask this question: it appears you have very nice luggage. How do you keep it locked seeing as the TSA ripped my lock off my softside 26" suitcase, telling me later the lock did not meet the requirements set forth by our Communistic Homeland Security and the TSA? Or are you always able to carry your hardshell suitcase on board?

Last time I flew ANA was back in 2004 and it was awesome. Unlimited sour cream and onion Pringles Chips and Oreo Cookies!. Hell, they also had Haagen Daas Ice Cream as an option!. I flew economy!. I got love for ANA!. Did you happen to fly over Mt. Fuji?
