    If you look away from the top, youll see that embiid actually tried to avoid the defender with that turn around hop step, but ofc he could that elbow down about 20 centimeters and it would have been good...

      @@hanj31 which doesnt make any sense as he can hit him with his hand on the ball.
      "F1: unnecessary contact commited by a player against the opponent
      F2: unnecessary and excessive contact commited by a player against the opponent"
      Rule doesnt state about intent just about excessivness this looks really excessive and hard blow.

      @@mpetkovic26 the argument is that it's because when you have your hands on the ball your purpose is to get to the rim

    • @mpetkovic26
      @mpetkovic26 3 года назад +3

      @@privateaccount4460 I understand that, but you cant go through not moving defender you need to beat your guy fake him out or go around him. What Embiid did was foul, then it was unnecessary due to fact his elbow was unnaturally high(left arm parallel to the ground) and it was excessive due to a fact that dude blasted him and thank god he didnt hit him in eye socket or orbital bone he could severly damaged his eye as breaking orbital bone can leave you with teporal or permanent eye damage.

      @@mpetkovic26 Listen I agree with you. He for sure swung that shit and imo it's a F2. I'm just assuming that's the logic behind saying "hand was on the ball"

  • @Wis_Dom

    The other elbow was lower, which to me, means the hit was intentional. He only kept his hand on the ball to try to get away with.

    • @mpetkovic26
      @mpetkovic26 3 года назад +1

      He did he just lowers it so he shields the ball kinda chicken wings the defender. But this is clear swing, his elbow was down when he started turning and then he had swung as he turned.
