I had mastered the ‘floundering around til I stumbled on the effect I wanted’ method…but not really knowing what I had done😤. So, I enjoy learning the correct, efficient ways to get to where I want to go 😊, which is much better for my blood pressure. Oh!, by the way, this past weekend the USA celebrated our Independence Day. At the family get together , at one point, my sister asked if I wanted a drink 🥃, I said sure A WEE bit😳. Nicely done! I bought Affinity Photo in 2015 after Adobe went subscription. I starting using Photoshop in 1991 and finally weaned off a couple years after purchasing Affinity Photo (Desktop for Mac). I had so many photoshop files I wanted to convert to Affinity and was able to do so but I had to learn by fire since there were few videos to watch those days and the iPad Pro wasn’t born yet! The one thing I am grateful for was the practice of labeling my layers! My graphic design instructor pounded that practice into our heads and I am so grateful I followed that practice! So if you are serious about being a professional, make sure you label your layers - your’ll thank me later. Affinity Photo has come a long way since I started using it and I really enjoy the interface and speed (it’s soooooo fast!). It just feels so much more fun and yet it gets the job done! Thank you for your videos, wish I had these when I first started, but still enjoying seeing what others are doing! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for your brilliant comment, encouragement and naming layer tip! I must confess I don't name layers half as much as I should, and as you know, the bigger the project, the bigger regret I have in not doing so! I will take on your advice as you're 100% right! Thanks so much again :)
Your whole channel is a life saver for me - perfect intro as a newcomer to both Affinity & the iPad. I still use Adobe apps on my PC but I'm really falling in love with these iPad apps. Big thanks from Sydney, Australia

Great vidéos! I've recently bought my 1st MacBook air the M1 version. But honestly I'm so in love with Affinity photo on my iPad can't picture myself using anything else for editing. Ur videos are great help on the ipad
