Used Furious Rajang Greatsword and Raging Brachydios Hammer and Charge Blade. FrostFang Barioth weapons have extremely good elemental damage, with the dual blades I managed to nerf Alatreon's Escaton Judgement, something I wasn't able to do with Reverent Esarca with. Fainted only 1 time in my first run Thing about Frostfang Barioth is that he hits hard, really damn hard if you let him. If you get hit with his ice, not only will it inflict ice blight, but it will also impair your movement. His fang smash attack will hit, and it hits like Raging Brachydios when you get slime'd and he hits you.
Love his design and the fight is fun but not gonna lie it’s pretty easy. Did my last hunt for him in about ten minutes pretty comfortably. Was hoping he’d be harder. Still love him tho
Really fun monster to fight. Ok, the thing where it shoots 2 ice patches on the ground in a V-Shape is annoying because you either get stuck in them or you get cornered inside the ice patches while Barioth either jumps on you or shoots that explosive ice breath on you, but other than that, it was enjoyable. Took me 8 minutes to kill with Dual Blades.

Sand Barioth never made any sense to me. A sabertooth in the desert? Tf? If nothing else, the Coral Highlands or Ancient Forest would make more sense. I know I’m overthinking this, but I just don’t see the appeal of it.

I just had max level alatreon armor with kjarr fire glaive and tbh I thought he was fun. Killed him first try and I think he is fair. I'm farming his armor mostly because I like the skills but also because his armor looks so cool

Try tempered elder at guiding lands. The damage is busted when compared to same tempered elder in investigation quest.

Either your defense is insane or frost fangs damage is awful
If you look closely, you'll see several procs of Divine Blessing that end up reducing the damage down a lot each time it activates.
Maxxed out divine blessing is a life saver
