The coordinators were terrible last year. Especially on offense they were so predictable and called a highschool game plan. Defensively they got torched when they switched coordinators . They missed some of the LBer and safeties they let walk. They won ugly most of the season in spite of bad coaching because of the talent and grit of the roster but was too much to overcome

It is really easy to see where last season went wrong. We lost 1 unbelieveable coordinator and one okay coordinator. We replaced those coordinators with bargain bin coordinators and we suffered for it.
This offseason we spent money on proven coordinators. The Eagles underestimated how responsible our coordinators were for our success.
Related to our offensive coordinator we don't know if Jalen's bad season was related to health or the loss of an outstanding play caller.
The Eagles have talent and it is the job of coaches to put players in a position to win. Bad coordinators put our really good players in bad positions a lot last year.

He is more like an associate head coach. A" figure head or a guy with final say.

    The Exaggeration of Birds Fall
    (Writer Lateef Merritt)
Let’s really take a look at this so called “birds collapse”. I think people are forgetting that the Eagles were on a 5 game win streak of facing Miami, Washington, Dallas, Kansas City, and buffalo; the matchup against San Fran they were rested coming off a mini bye week and pissed off at their previous loss to the birds…and they whooped our butts…slay and Bradberry actually played very well our linebackers not so much granted they were coming from the practice squad….then going into the Dallas game Dallas was also coming off a mini bye week and pissed at their previous loss to the eagles so they wanted it more and also whooped our butts…the next game was the Seattle game which they won by 3 with a walk off TD the Eagles then go and beats their divisional opponent the giants next game they lose to Arizona by 4 to a TD with 32 secs left next game the Eagles rested their starters against that same divisional opponent they just beat two weeks prior and lost that game following week round one playoffs they lose the game not being able to generate any offense with AJ brown not playing. I say that to say yes the collapse was disappointing to say the least but let’s not exaggerate over this so called collapse..in my honest opinion i believe the inexperienced coordinators is what hampered the birds after 12 weeks there’s lots of film on you and if you don’t adjust you will get beat…the changing of the guard mid-shift didn’t do them any good either but here we are 2024 with experienced coordinators and more talent these birds are about to takeoff no questions about it NFC/NFC East easy schedule you heard it here first. TeefSPN out.

This draft is overrated just like previous howie drafts. Fine with first two picks, then he goes damian taylor part 2, a rb that is average, fine with the receivers flyers, but a linebacker (arguably most in need position) that got picked late for a reason. So no pass rush help, a linebacker core again rolling dice, and an o lineman going down away from a lost season

Ok I love my Eagles but there is nothing to fear. 2 unproven CBs on the NFL level means nothing. Are LB are very questionable. Are starters on defense gotta be 5 to 8 new starters and a new DC and OC. And a QB that in some games looks like night and day. One game gives you 290 passing yards next game 140. I'm a big fan but realistic first. Everybody needs to relax

@@George-Cancel The secondary is deep, but relying on this year to be vastly improved. Rookies are only capable of so much, and I think its a lot of pressure on players who could be great with a good coach. I don't think there's a corners coach equivalent of Stoutland they can rely on. This isn't going to be the break out year for their draft picks. That is extremely rare. I would love for top picks to show out and prove a future here, but we likely won't see either one until week 6+ outside of the pre-season. Bradbury is going to be that hinge point. If they trade him in camp, then you know one of those rookies is elite.
