    Your Channel was recently highlighted to us by RUclips and has proved to very interesting. The wombat “cubed” poo is something we know about as we have many in resident close to our locality and pre this latest COVID-19 lockdown we saw many examples of their goal to drop a cube or two on “high” spots i.e. logs, rocks, branches, you name it as they are right royal contortionists. The video was again very interesting. Best wishes.

    To say Patricia's family name you change the 'a' to 'u', so it would be, phonetically, "yung"; Patricia Yung.
    Shanghai is spoken as 'shunghai' but it's gets more complicated where you have vowel combinations, such as the yellow river; huang is yellow, phonetically in English huang can be spoken as hwong. River is 'he' spoken phonetically as 'her'. So the Yellow (hwong) river (her); hwong her, written as huang he in pin yin. But 'pin yin' is actually spoken as 'pee yin'. The 'i' in 'pin' is spoken as 'ee' but the 'n' is silent. yin is spoken as it is in English; pee yin. Pin Yin was devised by an Englishman, it contains 26 exact same speech sound (phonemes) as English speech sounds of the same letters. Pin Yin is the first, ever, national language in phonetics. It's name is putong hua. 'Pu' is spoken as 'poo' + tong; pu+tong; putong which means 'common'. 'hua' is a little more complicated but it can be spoken as 'hwa', the 'a' is the same sound in 'about'. poo+tong+hwa. Hua means 'talk' from the mouth, so putong hua means 'common talk'. Putonghua was created in about 1950 and is the first, ever, national language

    I always thought that wombats must of had a unusual shape inside for the sides of the poo and then their proximity to the ground when they poo is that they squish it a little with their butts to flatten the top and bottom to get the shape. But that was without any investigation, just a random guess when passing the poo on the ski lift.

    I seriously doubt a cow having a name given to it by a human will change how much milk it makes, its more likely that farms that give each individual cow a name put more time, effort and/or money on average into making their cows happier than farms that don't care enough to name their cows and just number them instead. Happier cows make more milk and get sick less often.

    • @markfryer9880
      @markfryer9880 3 года назад

      You are probably onto something there. There is a documentary out there about a US woman "who thinks like a cow" due to some mental illness (can't remember which one, sorry). Anyway, she acts as a consultant for ranchers, dairy farmers and slaughter yards on how to make their facilities less stressful for cattle. A lot of it had to do with avoiding sharp turns and making gradual transitions between herd areas and individual areas so that the animals had time to sort themselves out without getting stressed. Naturally a stressed animal will produce less milk and an animal that is stressed before it is killed will have stress hormones in it's bloodstream and muscles.

    2:29 the scale used in the two charts is exponential with each "line" representing 10 times the value of the one before. Thus, the values look much closer together than they actually are. I don't think, it was thus meant or accurate to say, that all mammals pee for roughly the same time (a poor rodent would be quite dried out then). Rather, the larger they are, the more they can "flush out" :-)
