I haven't heard this song in so long I thought it was an original at first. Then the chorus hit and suddenly its ten years ago and I'm watching toonami again.
This man is truly a paragon of comedy. Took 1 super chat that probably meant nothing and ran with it for months to such a satisfying climax. Most people would have ignored it or let the joke die, but Bettel saw the potential and spun a wild ride on the fly. There is only one man ingenious enough to play the role of Guild Tempus's Fool and it's him.
This cover was leaps and bounds above what I was expecting out of today and your vocals are INSANE here. You have developed such a unique style and fits the vibe so perfectly. The awesomeness of the cover and the performance aside, I just wanted to point out just how damn clever the whole August 19th EXPERIENCE itself was. Starting from the legendary but simple Heff SC, Betsy was able to cook up not just a bit but an entire MYTHOLOGY revolving around the almost 2012 Mayan calendar-esque countdown to damnation, leading up to a highly-viewed event stream with lots of cool variety content, and all capped off with this new cover of a (very fitting) song. This is the absolute peak. There's no way Bettel can top this...until his next big event comes around, of course.

This cover got me interested in Deadman Wonderland, which I proceeded to read in its entirety throughout the past 4 days, I recommend reading it if you like guro or the indomitable human spirit. I can't put into words how amazing this cover is, his tones and inflections were perfect for this song. Truly amazing job from everyone involved in this production, Illustrator, MV, mixer, and, of course, Bettel's amazingly suited singing. Really hope to hear more covers like this in the future.
