This podcast really hit home, I’m grateful you guys are raising awareness on being alert to your surroundings. I remember my first job being 16 and I got robbed at gunpoint and was chased out the store by the masked men. Legit had to jump a fence and slide under a car to hide. Sometimes they want more then what they intend to rob. Honestly the most terrifying experience, but since then I feel like I’ve probably saved myself from so much by being more aware. I second everything that Karen talks about processed foods. I eliminated all processed foods and sugars and you just feel healthy physically and mentally. Loved this chat! We need a part 2!!
This literally made me want to cry. It’s so sad to hear about that tree and even more the family that lost a husband and dad. This is why trees need to be inspected by professionals and taken care of. Oaks have so many restrictions to how they can be treated. My dad and brothers own a tree company (that my dad started since the 70s) and have told me about how important it is to take care of our trees so they grow to be big and healthy and these things don’t happen. Prayers for strength for that family 🤍🤍.

I worry about the same things Laura and Karen do. This world is just so crazy now. I feel kinda crazy sometimes but I’m always analyzing my surroundings. But it’s so true what Karen said; just within these last couple of years this feeling has crept up on me.
It’s very scary! & just to add to a story that happened to me so that other girls are aware. I know that we see on Insta and all that about people coming up to you in stores and saying “someone’s following you, do you want me to walk with you” (acting like they’re helping) & as nice as that is just beware that those could be the people following you. So go up to a store employee and ask them to walk you out. I had two women with a baby come up to me & my guard was definitely down. So don’t think it’s just men. It’s men, women, kids. Doesn’t matter. It’s not the scary looking people you gotta look out for it’s the people that look just like us. Dont trust anyone. This happened to me at a target and I never go anywhere alone anymore.

Wow hearing this tragedy about this tree falling on this house and hilling this poor gentleman gave me goosebumps as well as I am dealing with something similar myself. I unexpectedly lost my Husband at 30 years old and we have three kids then I lost our home to a fire a few months after. So me and our three kids are having such a horrible time right now to say the least and not having anything except what we had on. I'm thankful my children and I are still alive and I feel so sorry for this Mother and child and the family and know how this feels all to well very unfortunately. I wanted to comment on this specific podcast episode since something in it really spoke to me. Earlier this year (March 2021) I lost my father in law to a freak accident that involved a tree as well. He had been retired for at least 4 years and had cut down and built so many things out of the trees on their property and just one day he was cutting some down and it was really windy out and one of the trees behind him snapped and fell on him and killed him.. so as soon as you guys started talking about that tree in California I was immediately brought to tears just knowing the pain that family is going through. Me and my husband had at the time just recently gotten engaged and had been together 6 years. So he truly has been my father in law a lot longer than just officially since we’ve been married. I think the hardest part of it all was being out of town and having to travel down knowing you aren’t going for good reasons. We live in Huntsville and they live in Andalusia. If you are truly from Alabama you should know the small little town of Andalusia! Anyways, I just wanted to comment! You may never see this, but it truly is so insane how crazy freak accidents are and how tragic they are and can be! I have always been a fan of Laura since I found her on RUclips and found out she is from Alabama! (I’m a bama girl too) and then fell in Love with Manny given you are best friends and every time I watch or listen to you guys together it just feels like I’m hanging out with you guys and like your my best friends too! I love you both! Keep being fools! 🥰
Finally there is an influencer that loves the same movies as me. Good fellas is on repeat for me, casino, departed. I never hear anyone talk about those movies. I LOVE THEM.

I live in Saint Louis and this crazy shit happens every day unfortunately 😞 my husband was actually held at gun point and the guy stole his wallet and phone. He had JUST left the bank to get his tax return. I swear he was being followed. We just have to be cautious and THIS IS WHY WE CARRY. I’m packed in my car at all times and there have been sketchy situations where I’ve had to grab it just to protect myself in case. Scary out there y’all be safe ❤️
I feel so bad for that family. My best friend in high school went missing and died tragically during the Holidays and to this day I still can barely make it through the holidays
I always keep my finger on the alarm button on my key faab walking to my car and as a single person I sleep with my keys in my room and if I hear someone breaking in I could press the car alarm and it would bring attention to my home and hopefully scare them off.
Crime is very real, “I’m a very notice your surroundings type of person” i was in noho grocery shopping past dark and didnt even notice they surrounded me luckily thank god 2 guys happen to walk to by near me they retreated back, i threw my stuff in the seat and drove away to noho police to make sure i wasn’t followed. Im a strong person but definitely 1st time I’ve ever been actually scared! Im pregnant and felt so vulnerable, never felt like that.

Having going through hurricanes, Oak trees are the worst. They have such SHALLOW root systems. All it takes is some rain or massive winds. In Houma, LA the Oak trees, one type is worse than others, are just totally up rooted. Even the oldest most mature. Different types of trees fell but they split in the trunk or big branches fell. Oaks were the ones uprooted from end to end. So so so sad
I recently found out I have h. Pylori which is a bacteria in my stomach and it has completely changed the my self love, day to day tasks, and confidence to a whole other level. I had to switch my whole life around this one bacteria just to feel good and not look pregnant, suffer with GERD, and feel horrible every day by completely cutting out anything processed. sugar, caffeine, staying away from certain produce, dairy, and most meats and I have lost 12 pounds in the span of 2 weeks and feel amazing. Living in a Mexican household it is one of the hardest things to do and super expensive but it is insane how much all the cheap processed food can make you feel sick.
I’m late to watching this. I feel like this video couldn’t have came at a more perfect moment. Everything y’all talked about was eye opening. Definitely need a lifestyle change and need to be aware of my surroundings.😳

So your sun, moon, rising, mars, venus, etc... ☺️ if your sun sign isn’t usually compatible w another sign - your moon, mercury, rising, etc could show the compatibility! 🖤 and for example an Aries sun with a Virgo rising would maybe be more organized than an Aries sun with a Pisces rising!

Having going through hurricanes, Oak trees are the worst. They have such SHALLOW root systems. All it takes is some rain or massive winds. In Houma, LA the Oak trees, one type is worse than others, are just totally up rooted. Even the oldest most mature. Different types of trees fell but they split in the trunk or big branches fell. Oaks were the ones uprooted from end to end. So so so sad
I recently found out I have h. Pylori which is a bacteria in my stomach and it has completely changed the my self love, day to day tasks, and confidence to a whole other level. I had to switch my whole life around this one bacteria just to feel good and not look pregnant, suffer with GERD, and feel horrible every day by completely cutting out anything processed. sugar, caffeine, staying away from certain produce, dairy, and most meats and I have lost 12 pounds in the span of 2 weeks and feel amazing. Living in a Mexican household it is one of the hardest things to do and super expensive but it is insane how much all the cheap processed food can make you feel sick.
