Seeing those images one can't help remembering with fondness...a time, a place, some special event or person. Recess and lunch time from our school days, Saturdays after makin' market, our granny's home-made treats, a shot-glass of Hong-Wing coffee on Sunday mornings (muh Granny used to say too much coffee makes chirren dunce)...pail-turned coconut ice-cream on Sunday evenings, muh daddy choppin'-up cow heel and pig tail for soup on Saturdays (with a Chinese chopper of course)...So many nice memories. 🙂

George, I'm sure you've encountered our folks who, when they left home, believed their culture was disposable. So in an effort to adopt their new place of residence and "fit in" as a good "Citizen", they chose to ignore what was already hard-wired in their DNA...not realizing that they would end up soul-less, hollow and adrift in a strange land... 🤔

His number is 868-719-5481. I know Leroy Thomas well. He made quite a few pans for me. I still have some of them in Denmark. He used to live on the corner of Stella and Watts Street in curepe. A real gentleman. Bobby Mohammed is still around - they re-named Harris Promenade East in San Fernando after Bobby in April 2019.
