After watching your most recent 22rd May 2021 i viewed this .What a difference ! It looks almost new and so very clean . How long had this been abandoned ? Excellent filming and one thing I'm sure of no matter what I never wish to set foot in a hospital again as a patient ,,,,Many thanks Orteca :)👍
Yes that really is a huge difference. That hospital from last Saturday (22/05/21) has been abandoned for 12 years at the time of my exploring. This hospital was largely abandoned from 2010, but a doctor still had a few rooms in use for his practice until the end of 2013. So that's why there is almost no destruction at the time of my reconnaissance. Nice to know, this hospital is still deserted and is sometimes visited by other urban explorers. It is now almost completely empty and very much destroyed. This is still one of my favorite explorations to this day.
@@orteca I can understand why..I've not done as much exploring as you but even to this day have my favourite video .Mind you annoying part is a follow up i made has "gone" and have searched on here for it ..Thanks for sharing more about this ...Helena .
Great video ! How long has it been abandoned ? We shouldn't let this happening. In emerging countries people can't benefit from such expensive pieces of equipment... and here instead we let everything rot ! We live in a sad word !
This is pretty normal for Hospitals that merge. There is so much selling of equipment going on after determining what can be transferred to the new site and meanwhile, it's storage. why pay to move,store,re-pick up and transfer etc then pay storage for stuff not reused or sold. There will be an auction later. BUT everything that does not go, stays to rot. The paperwork being left is due to computer storage and erelevant to staff because patient was cured or passed on. Lazy, basically and so not right. but under staffing is a problem. A lot of work moving an entire hospital and things get lost. Great video, I subscribed because Your respectful unlike some explorers.
+dieselrotor Oh and I know this because I have a friend who's a doctor and when His hospital merged I had time so I volunteered to help move stuff and learned a lot about these situations. They do what they can. And being ladled in a language other than english really hurts the resale. There are actually company's that relable but it's not cheap and most manuals usually come in several languages but who can take the time to learn it to use it.
I felt the same way, on how clean it is. And I think it is so sad that all this Equipment is going to waste. It's a shame They can't put it in Trailers, for Dr's across Boarders. When There is a Catastrophe especially in a third War Country. And all these Machines x rays, MRI, Catscans, the Huge lights, even Operating Equipment. I'm sure the Emergency Area has a lot, and the beds. And There's probably wheelchairs around. There are so many vacant Hospitals, with so much Equipment, that could be getting used now. I noticed when He came into this section the light was on too. There seems to be more and more vacant Hospitals. Some with full power on in them. Depending on what is wrong with the Hospital's or Hotels, and even Apt. Buildings, it's a shame Someone in Construction or the Government can't see if They can repair them and put homeless People in there. I'm not saying to put them in places where there is mold, or leaking ceilings. But if People could work together and fix some of these places up, to get People off the Streets and help People to help Themselves. I think this is so sad, to see all these vacant places. Think about how many People were saved here, born here and died here. Every place has History. There's a lot of Motels, that are vacant but in Good Condition, providing They weren't vanderlized.
Einfach Geniales Video und wie der Sound das übermalt, macht das Video im gesammten sehr Interessant. Schade, das man in meiner Gegend solch einen von Vandalismus freien Ort vergebens sucht.
It's funny they left everything. There's a huge market for used medical equipment. There's even a sort of Ebay for it. This stuff is worth thousands of €. I'm a truck driver, and one day I picked up a used CT scanner in France, which had to be shipped to the US.
I'm curious to know if the hospital went bankrupt and the owners had to leave everything behind. Another thing I noticed is that it's incredibly clean considering the equipments age.
It looks to be in Germany or Austria .Certainly a European German speaking country .Hospitals don't go bankrupt in Europe Each country has a public health service and they work very well ...Generally speaking they have many facilities and beds ..
callum wood There was full electricity in the whole hospital, you easily could turn on the lights. everything was working. The electricity was working because the hospital was not that long abandoned.
+Miluie Sunshine why isn't the place filled with bums, vagrants attacked by vandals? This is amazing footage. The X-rays shouldn't be laying around, it's a patient privacy issue. The operating tables and lights are current, they could certainly be sold to a used equipment dealer. The table in the "red" room is 1950s era, tho white ones at the beginning have a bunch of positioning options and are up to date. Did you check out the pharmacy?
+Mr Penguin2 I wonder...The video is from 2014 but the Hospital closed 2010. 4 years? A long time and this Hospital is pretty clean. PS. : The Hospital is in another video: "Klinik Mitte" . That video is good too.
+jerry ball This is in Germany, in that country they close hospitals for all sorts of reasons: sometimes it's bc of bacteria, in many cases they get closed because they go bankrupt and can't get any funds to keep it open but also bc there are way too many hospitals there which is not profitable.
Id imagine they left due to a radiation leak of some sort. When that happens, they have to assume everything is contaminated so unfortunately they leave it to rot...
***** One was a nuclear reactor core meltdown and the other is a hospital. P.S. The most radio active thing in a hospital is Technetium-99m which is an over statement considering its only radioactive for 3 days.
+Iris Most things are going to be saled or shipped to poor countrys. But it mostley take a lot of time until its sold. Stuff is too old as its older than 2 years.
+Miluie Sunshine Thank God they plan on sending/selling the equipment to other countries in need of medical equipment. I look at the gurneys, carts, medical instruments and especially the maternity equipment and tables while thinking of my last view of a maternity ward in Africa. The electric was off and the equipment almost nonexistent. In another a nurse was trying to deliver a baby from the mother laying on a army cot using her cell phone for light by gripping it in her teeth. Aged or not the equipment would be welcome even if it were the simplest things.
Sind diese Krankenhäuser auch mal zur Wiederbesetzung für Notfälle (Kriegsfälle etc.) gedacht? Oder warum steht da noch teures Zeug rum, welches man locker auch in anderen Ländern gebrauchen könnte...
That's where , I went for surgery, and woke up, to them cutting me, and I could feel it! And they didn't know, because I was unable to move! Horrible, horrible place to be!

Very nice made exploration video, Orteca. The location looks still intact and not much touched or destroyed. Great work
Fantastic soundtrack for the video.
It's crazy to leave multi million dollars worth of equipment to rot! What happened that would make them just walk away from all that? Weird!

I was just having the same thoughts, Patachoc!

a light on your camera and a wide angle lens would make your production far better

Wow! maybe they all went out for a break. lol. Are you sure it was abandoned? Incredible to leave all that stuff there.
Eileen Grattan yeah yeah even the patients? dude they couldn't be on break this place is closed from 2010
Amazing place it looks like abandoned yesterday, the plants at 7:20 are still green.
interesting.
Why were the lights on and did you even check to turn on a light ??
callum wood There was full electricity in the whole hospital, you easily could turn on the lights. everything was working. The electricity was working because the hospital was not that long abandoned.

+Mr Penguin2 I wonder...The video is from 2014 but the Hospital closed 2010. 4 years? A long time and this Hospital is pretty clean.

+jerry ball This is in Germany, in that country they close hospitals for all sorts of reasons: sometimes it's bc of bacteria, in many cases they get closed because they go bankrupt and can't get any funds to keep it open but also bc there are way too many hospitals there which is not profitable.

Thousands of places will greatly take this yet the government leave it?
Id imagine they left due to a radiation leak of some sort. When that happens, they have to assume everything is contaminated so unfortunately they leave it to rot...
maya nibbe Not hardly.
What happened in Prypiat. They had to leave everything behind
***** One was a nuclear reactor core meltdown and the other is a hospital. P.S. The most radio active thing in a hospital is Technetium-99m which is an over statement considering its only radioactive for 3 days.
+Ion Hunter its a nuclear medicine used to kill cancer
That doll is creepy!!! (14:40)
When did this hospital close. The equipment is so out dated. Looks a hospital equipment used in 60s-70s?
It was closed 2010.

Michel Heytens I think some sort of operationroom, but I don't know why the windows are so strange.
+Daniel28021991 I think it's the color of the blinds.
That's where , I went for surgery, and woke up, to them cutting me, and I could feel it! And they didn't know, because I was unable to move! Horrible, horrible place to be!
