The idea to build a shipping container home was definitely one of the wildest ones we've had and if you've been joining our weekly videos for any amount of time you know that's saying something. Without question, it's a project that is much more difficult than we thought it would be but we're having fun along the way and that's what counts. Join us every Sunday as we continue to create off the grid homestead vlogs, sharing our adventures as we build our own alternative lifestyle of living off the land and building a home out of shipping containers!

Why was the previous installer not responsible for replacing the damaged siding ??
They have not given many details, but I have a feeling the contractor in question was confronted he walked away with his middle finger in the air. In the states this happens all the time. They want a deposit, they know I out your walls and disappear. When you demand they finish they say it is going to cost more. And they probably are living hand to mouth so there is no way to sue them when they have no money.

I really hope that the contractor that installed the surface also will pay for the redo! And I am always amazed with your ability to rise above these things and keep on going 😊

I'm pretty sure they said beginning of the video they just finished dealing with the contractor issues legally which is why they can finally take it down, I assume they had to leave it on as evidence.
How did the contractor not know it was all wrong? Were they hoping they wouldn’t notice? Sounds shady. Was it the contractors they were feeding or another company?

We have for years Cut the bottom of the pumpkin instead of the top.
My husband and I do Pumpkin Wars during the Halloween season every year. He always wins because his pumpkins are usually very intricate. ❤❤

For next year, use a hand held mixer to clean the inside of the pumpkin. It makes it easier to scoop out the guts.
