BLACK HOLE is just barely restrained chaos, teetering on the edge of insanity. Crazy good! Meanwhile, Manners is completely different, almost old-school hard rock with an amazing bass groove. How can anyone not love this band!?
@@powbobs Black Hole isn't exactly easy to digest, and personally it took a couple of listening to to appreciate it. What it's definitely not is crap. Tastes differ, but even if you don't like a song you should be able to recognize complex melodic structures and technical difficulties, especially if you're a "musician", though that doesn't tell us much, as David Guetta also says that about himself, speaking of "crap" ... ;)
I had a feeling that 'Black Hole' would result in 'Brain.exe has stopped working'. Or maybe I should say that it makes you forget your good 'manners'. 😇 The studio version is already pretty sick, and I had slight concerns about how the ladies would bring this song with all its crazy energy to the stage. But of course i really should have known that they would prove me wrong and make it look as easy as ever, as if there was nothing more normal for ALL of them. But I am sure of one thing. That intro to Manners we didn't know we needed but they gave it to us anyways. If that doesn't speak about their passion for music and makes you love'em I don't know what does 🤘🕊️
Fun fact: Up until Manners or a song before this, Kanami had been having sound issues for most of the show. So when Black Hole rolled around, you can tell she took all her frustration out on it.
Just MISA! MISA! MISA! and Akane at the beginning was awesome. Then they just went and did two incredible performances. If they ever come to Atlanta, I'll be in the front row next to you!

You just listened to ALONE, which is an oldy for them. I just finally got the CD with SCREAMING on it. The album is called START OVER. Its an EP with just two songs. I listened to SCREAMING six times on the way home at FULL BLAST in my car. 1000 watts. Its on the Club Shibuya concert show. WOW!!! SO GOOD.

It is always amusing the way you walk around the room to Babymetal and Band Maid, like an excited school boy. Band Maid have come a long way since the release of Thril but I still enjoy the simpler songs from the earlier dsys.
Was able to watch that concert live. It's amazing even if it's not in person. Next up needs to be Peace & Love by Cluppo! Legendary Pigeon side project!
Another great reaction to the best band on the planet. I wish they would put CHEMICAL REACTION up. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!! If it were released in 1983, it would have gone #1 even in Japanese. WE are all MAIDIACS!!!!! Even us 50+ year old headbangers. I still think you would really enjoy Semblant, What Lies Ahead. They also have Incinerate and Dark of the Day. Those are the only three I really like.

Band-Maid is a “rock band,” but it’s not at the same time. What it is is a chamber music “ensemble” with strings, percussion, and vocals. So, their jamming is nat improvisation , but it’s construction all of which these girls had really meant to perform.
These two songs are a perfect showcase of Band Maid's versatility. Funky blues-rock anthem followed by the structured chaos of today. I really like the vocal choices throughout their new material!!
Giggling at you fanboying all over it, and I don't blame you one iota. Between these ladies, and their peers, it's all more than humanity deserves. Glorious stuff!

Manners is a great single while Black hole is showing Kanami lost it in isolation. Apparently the songs got quicker with more time alone. Most of the whole album shows it. Sorry for Akane in the darkness. A squillion miles an hour and still manages to have time for fills. Remarkable. Another priceless reaction from Mr Rock n Roll. Can see the frustration. Wants to see These Maids something bad...hopefully next year..
Women are finally taking over rock, and it is about time. Band Maid... The Warning... kudos to Null Positiv and The Pretty Reckless because they are fronted by women... Mick and Keith are old and tired. We need new blood, and these girls rock.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but Saiki messed up 2nd chorus i n Manners :D It should be " shinten hokki" but she did "genkai toppa" again :D small detail but still... as a big fan i notice everything :D
