I am born and raised in eastern europe and always loved the "wild west" image.
Being a cowboy is something mystical.

You’re better off going to Australia. Cowboy life is much more alive over there. Cattle stations are absolutely huge and the cattle is still pretty wild.

@@RM-mc5uy I don't know what you are smoking, but it must be strong, or you know absolutely nothing of the rural united states. We have entire states basically dedicated to agriculture and ranching. We have states that run rodeo year round, and ranches bigger than some cities. I live in Montana, where there are twice as many cows as there are people. With just the three top cowboy states you have more undeveloped land and almost three times the cattle that Australia does. And that's not counting sheep and wild horses, of which we have many and Australia comparatively has few.

Better go back to 1890 because that's about when actual cowboys stopped being a thing. What we see now is people trying to live out what they saw in "old west" films from Hollywood. The fake culture is full of people who can't work on or fix anything and can't deal with the outdoors if they don't have a million amenities to make it easier. Be an outdoorsman, not a fake cowboy.
