For my character I wanted three things: 1) Can blend in both the wilderness or among the civilian population. 2) Can still be comfortably worn in Bolivia's multiple weathers (won't sweat to death while trekking through the hot jungle or freeze to death in the mountains) 3) Can create fear among the Cartel while also inspiring the rebels So I chose a character that uses the black hoodie (raised), Fidel Castro's Patrol Cap, jeans (with knee-pads), two holed balaclava and dark glasses. The logic is that you can still use the black hoodie in almost any environment in Bolivia; it blends in the jungle; and more importantly: you can instantly look like a normal civilian and disappear among the population when you pull back the hoodie and ditch all your gear. But when you want to scare the Cartel and be like a Bolivian Batman, just raise the hoodie, wear the Castro cap (viva la revolution!), and balaclava+shades up like a modern ninja.... And thus create the legend of "The Hood", which ironically translates into "El Capo" in Spanish.
With a good and balaclava you'd be overheated in the jungle, and desert, more specifically it'd make your head hot which would cause your general body temp to go up as well, js
Greg Moulton They’re also issued steal plates for the back of their plate carrier but “you’re carrying 50 lbs of gear as it is...you don’t need another 12. I don’t know about you but I don’t plan on getting shot running away.”
Yeah, I thought about that as well. When I made the immersion video I thought everyone had the advanced ballistics helm. yeah like I explained in this one, it just kinda popped up in my inventory and I thought everyone got it anyway though, I have another idea too. I'm hoping to have the next video with all these revised rules we've come up with on Thursday.
Gep Gaming in future soldier they have nvg and thermal or something like it built into their coms glasses. I just use those for nvg or thermal if I do want headwear. Though, the coms glasses might make you easier to spot at night if you don’t scare the crap out of them first.
Also there are NVG and thermal scopes, so another idea you only use it when you aimed. Although you have to turn it on before aiming and off after. It's sad that we can't switch between those while aiming.
I'm really enjoying this game two or three years after you published your immersion videos. I used to play the heck out of the original Ghost Recon game and expansion packs on PC. Thanks for your tips. They make this game a unique challenge and add so much atmosphere and flavor to the game.
one of my favorite ways to run my character is to dress them similar to a rebel: hunting coat in dark green, Molle harness in woodland camo, beanie, skull cap, striped bandanna, jeans, standard issue backpack, hiking boots, plastic sunglasses. I would then make my guns a similar color to the terrain. I'd do it because it made it feel more like you're someone hiding within the civilian population.
it would be cool to see a undercover cop ,dea agent build , i experiment with a basic jeans ,t-shirt 3rd molle vest , with 9mm or .45 pistol , hat optional , sneakers , m4 assualt riffle , mp5.
For the last 2 characters I've started I've done a sorta progression of outfits as well, my character starts out in civvies pretty much, (female was in jeans and double layer tee when she flew in, male was wearing khaki cargos and short sleeve button up) if you have ever seen Black hawk down, the civvies made me kinda think of Hoot from the delta team and how he would just walk into an enemy city dressed like a tourist basically, and that was sorta my idea behind it, and then as my player has completed a couple missions, not many maybe 4-5 and has established more than just 1-2 Rally Points they gain access to a wider wardrobe
I like to run 5 variants on 1 outfit. Boots, trousers, webbing and backpack never change. I then change tops, hats gloves and gilly suit depending on environment or what i pick my role to be. As if all my equipment is in my backpack and im just changing in the field.
Proxximo Amandil //// I try so hard to have that playstyle with my friends but whenever I play with them they turn into Rambo and it immediate takes away a huge chunk of the fun and the immersion
Yea I'm changing my outfit constantly to fit the surroundings and the people i play with roast me for it. I started using the tiger camo so i could kinda blend in with most environment
I know I'm late to this video, but a lot of my outfits are also set for specific regions. I mainly use the old woodland camo with ghillie (I think I use woodsman), I have a desert one with the chocolate chip desert storm camo, an all white for snowy regions, all black for night ops, and I have one that doesn't really fit but since I was in the Navy for 4 years I have one where my boonie hat and pants are the navy digicamie and a black t-shirt which was our undershirt. It doesn't fit in to the area but for me it's a nice shout out to my navy days lol
Cool desert spec ops outfit: Bandana(sandstone) Crye shirt and pants (dcu tricolor) 5.11 tactec plate carrier(sandstone, don't confuse with tac vest) Cross com glasses Sapper pack(black) OR rush24/whatever it's called, the one without the "belt", black
One thing you could do with the new mission (With Sam Fisher) is with the Sonar Goggles, you can only use night vision and no thermal for immersion (due to the old time night vision effect making them dated) Another thing that could be immersing is using Echelon goggles only for thermal.
Another idea for immersion I’ve never really tried is, only use one primary weapon. But you can replace your dud second weapon with a dropped enemy’s weapon!
I just found your channel 3 days ago. Mainly because I just started playing Wildlands again recently, wanted to immerse myself in this beautiful game. I play with the HUD all off but the minimap and ammo counter because I use the glasses your wearing here. I figure those glasses have the map displayed there. Also! Your intro music reminds me so much of an anime called Phi-Brain. Anyways, thanks for the vids, I'm subbing, and remember to have fun!
I went for a Blue and tan solid snake kind of look for my first character. My second character took that same idea but with a green stealthier look. Then the third threw that out the window, and kitted out like a tank
Usually, my inspirations for outfits come from Medal of Honor (2010), Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and Battlefield 4. I get a lot of inspiration for my character's combat uniform looks from MOHW, his kind of special reconnaissance look from AFO Wolfpack in MOH 2010, and some civilian looks from either personal life or the second mission in the BF4 campaign. My go-to outfit right now is a black t-shirt, with the faded tactical kneepad jeans, Multicam 5.11 Tactec plate carrier, black hiking shoes, Multicam baseball cap, Oakley SI Straight Jackets, neutral sniper gloves, and whatever backpack I'm wearing also in Multicam. Nothing flashy, just functional.
I play as a US Navy SEAL so I use Crye Precision on both shirt and pants, Body armor 5.11 Tactec or IBA depends, Carbon helmet, one-hole balaclava and ESS Ballistic Goggles. For jungle warfare I use Multicam Tropic (AOR2 is just too bright), for desert warfare the AOR1 looks really good. As for the arctic warfare, the Kryptek Yeti is the whitest (Multicam Alpine still has color on it so I don't like it) so I go with that. I notice all other USSOCOM units use Crye Precision anyway, just different camo (Multicam). Please let me know if I'm wrong because all I can based on are Google and movies.
I usually rock what I call the "CAF Reece Unit". Put CADPAT on the Crye shirt, Armored Vest, Cargo B, and the 5.11 Rush24 backpack. Combat boots. Sniper Gloves - Neutral. Watch Cap - Forest Green. And lastly, the earpiece. Fits very well in Caimanes and any other heavy forest area.
My favorite setup is what I like to use for night ops and covert infiltration. I wear the black business casual shirt, jeans with tactical kneepads, hiking shoes, 5.11 tactec plate carrier(black multicam), Oakley gloves, Oakley straight jacket fire glasses, operator face mask, wingnut (black mc), headset c, and drone pack. Then have the mp7 set up as my primary with g36 as secondary.
Starting from the get-go, I bought the Commando Pack. I'm from the old SOCOM days on PlayStation 2 and I like action and war movies that involve that sort of trademark Commando style. These movies include Rambo, Predator, Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, etc. What I did for the campaign was attack each region methodically. While I did that, I always switched up the camouflage for my B.D.U. It was always the same outfit, but it blended in with the foliage of the particular section of Bolivia I was liberating. I almost exclusively used the M4A1 Commando and SR-25 Liberator with the exceptions being a lot of the older generation weapons. Once I unlocked the 1911 and the FN Five-Seven, I didn't use anything else for sidearms. The play-style I utilized during the entire campaign was strictly stealth, skirmish, and one-man-army. I remember one mission in particular involving a drug lab on a boat moored on a small island in the great lake. As a personal challenge, I stealthily dispatched every single enemy just with my bare hands. The whole experience was macho. Macho stealth with a heavy emphasis on melee take-downs, fast sniping, running in Unidad bases with a trigger finger twitchy enough to clear whole compounds before any alarm could be raised, and meat shields for when it occasionally went down south. Also, the mission is to completely dismantle the Santa Blanca cartel and that was something else I dedicated my character to. Even after unlocking maximum benefits, I made sure no supply drop went unfulfilled, no radio broadcast interrupted, no stone unturned. Wildlands would've suffered from Far Cry: 3 Syndrome, where the pirate faction would've essentially disappeared after taking the time to thoroughly liberate the island, had they not programmed the Sicarios to maintain a more constant presence. Location: Bolivia Status: FUCKING LIBERATED As a badge of honor for completing the game 100%, I equipped the beret in place of my boonie hat with the Commando patch and finalized my uniform. Now I'm tiered and just play to unlock the handful of skills I missed. Uniform: Hair and Body - Squared Away and Clean (No Tattoos or Paint) Tops - Commando, Camo Pattern (Region) Vests - Molle Harness, Solid Color Matching Camo (Olive Vest with Woodland Shirt for example) Pants - Commando, Camo Pattern (Region) Footwear - Commando, Solid Color (Always Black) Ghillie Suits - None Eyewear - None Facewear - None Headwear - Boonie Hat, Camo Pattern (Region) Headsets - Earpiece (Always Black) Handwear - Fingerless Kevlar (Always Black) Backpacks - 5.11 Rush24, Solid Color Matching Camo Patches - Beret Skull
One of my playthroughs I decided to do an nsa/cia attache character. Camo I changed on my outfit throughout each zone to fit. I ran non military specific camo options since "I'm not officially there." I ran mohawk, max beard size, skull face paint from one of the dlc packs, tats of skulls or religious, Oakley gloves, boots don't matter, non headset earpiece, crye pants, sapper pack, tank top with pred blades, molle chest, shemagh, and cross comm glasses. I went all silenced ar15 rifles and one of 4 smgs (mp7, vector, mp5 early, psg) I went short barrels, atpial lasers, very grips (magpul style), aimpoint optics, 50rnd mags, and anything that increased handling. I play the build close and fast while silenced. Hit hard and fast on full auto but stealthy. Phantom of the night style is the goal. I used nv and thermal thinking of the cross comm as a futuristic piece of tech giving my character the option and the blades I think of as experimental tech acquired by a lone spec ops soldier who survived in the jungles of Asia against a highly classified threat that we have adapted for use.
I made a different outfit for different area's: Desert, Grassland, Forest, Urban, Snow and then I added one for wearing at night that's basically all black which makes you nearly invisible when it's night. They are all blend-in outfits since my playstyle is mainly shooting from hidden positions and relocating, blending in makes me feel like im actually invisible and it's fun to do.
Since I’ve unlocked Frost and Buck as Icons, in Inca Camina I use either of them for that region since it reminds me of Rainbow Six’s Operation Black Ice. For regions like Caimanes, y’know real Predator style jungle areas I actually use a build similar to your Aqua Verde Ghillie Ghost, just a lot more Forest Green and Kryptic Mandrake. For the sake of immersion with Nomad himself, I actually built his default look from the game case art. Very incognito, blending into the civilian crowd, I made a complete casual kind of tourist look. Am I a ghost? No. Are you? And then, this one I prefer if I need night vision, I made an Unidad themed built with the Frontline Heavy Riot Control vest and Armored pants. An Unidad Heavy. What’s cool with this one in particular is that I may swap things to fit a specific role. Such as an Unidad Sniper, Infantry, Shotgun Door Kicker, etc.
Call me vanilla but I went with a pretty bog-standard (If slightly british-leaning) spec ops loadout: -FAST (Coyote brown) with black headset - IBA Carrier (Coyote brown) - Standard issue backpack (Coyote brown) -Ballistic Goggles (black) -Shemagh (white) -Fleece (Woodland) OR T-Shirt (Some kind of brown I can't remember) if i'm feeling fruity -Crye Precision Combat pants (Multicam) -P416 (Black) with V2 Foregrip or M203GL and Comp M4
I recently started playing wildlands, and I try to match my clothes to the environment, I was lucky enough to get the SAMantha Fisher splinter cell outfit, which I love putting on at night doing all the sneaking. Great Video
I usually rock a Canadian Mountie outfit. Brown Ranger Hat, Red Jacket, Canpat IBA, Black pants, work boots, and black oakley gloves. I'll usually make outfits based off characters in movies too
I do some RP too but it's a bit story driven too. One setup i had was my guy being an instructor (the typical "shoot me first" pants aka khaki 5.11s, with a black polo, tan or black tac boots, and a forward cap with an American flag patch, and Oakleys). He's there to instruct and train a group of rebels (i know he's supposed to be a ghost but, again, it's just RP).... So he has a "shit hits the fan" get up. Still in instructor attire, he has on a tan plate carrier, throws on the sniper gloves, a standard molle backpack, howard leight style ear pro (olive green "C" ear pro), and a bandana to cover his identity during his impromptu op.
I do this thing with my outfits where I customize just certain parts to fit the role. I like to use the poster Nomad outfit (blue cap, red shirt, brown pants), but when I feel like sniping I use camo facepaint, remove the hat, and add ghillie pants and a suit. When I go into cold regions I switch to the bomber jacket (I think it's DLC) with the red shirt underneath. In hot regions I add sunglasses and remove the gloves. It ends up looking more organic, like my character just puts on a jacket or a ghillie suit over his normal clothes, which I find to be more immersive than to just have a totally different outfit for each region because my AI guys never change.
I know im really late but i use a heavy medic type style, where i use a ballistic face mask, heavy drone iba vest for more armor with surgeons backpack, with tank pants and crye combat shirt for that fear type look with a borload of armor and lastly i use multicam black for that dark look at night.....then i have a charlie scene cosplay for my other playthrough
The advance ballistics helmet came with the special forces pack on the day it came out, cause it along with the gladiator set, in which has also a helmet with night vision but r PVS 14 model.
I think the ghillie suits themselves are a whole area that should be able to customize and add layers of details, or have two piece ghillie suits could be fun
I don’t know about pc, but on Xbox you can customize your squad by going to your load out and selecting customize character. Then use the triggers to switch characters and change outfits. Hope that helps.
My thoughts for immersion is that nomad would not have access to every and any kind of camo for outfits so he would have to take the gear no matter the camp though he wants blend in as much as possible while being comfortable so I like to use lots of black stuff and solid colors
I usually roll kryptek camo unless I'm in the jungle I'll use the Cadpat. But these vids are interesting. I wish you could get a rifle ghillie wrap without having to purchase a pack. Maybe I'm just being greedy.
@@johngriffith8009 Micro transactions sure ruined games. They expecting us to pay 50-100 dollars for a game and almost the same for other stuff which should be come with the original fee. You can actually change your teams clothing. When you’re in the menu to change your character press the right bumper and it will transfer to the others.
Hey Darkdally.. so you made a comment that you cannot dress your platoon.. however you can!! in the loadout section you can pick your outfit then click to the right to pick the next member of your platoon and dress him up to match what your wearing then you move to the next member then so on..The thing is if you decide that you want to go with something different in another part of the map,you have to change the entire platoon to suit your outfit.
I started out with different outfits to suit different environments but eventually ended up with just an outfit using the multicam scheme because it did seem to fit into most of the environments but tbh I don't think it really matters what you wear in the game because it's all purely cosmetic. Afterall no matter what you wear you still have you weapons hanging off your back anyway!
I use cryo pants with solid dessert camo with green t shirt and the biggest bag so I got enough space for supplies to last months in the wildlands also always have the cryo shirt in my bag if it gets cold
I use the cross com glasses now on all my setups because I don’t have the nvg helmet but since the glasses have the hud I like those for simulating night vision and ir
Nice vid - thanks. I currently go with Multicam for body armour, legs, baseball cap, with a drab green (I can't remember the exact colour in the game) business casual shirt. I like this look because it somewhat fits in with the private military contractor look of the other NPC's in your team, plus I like the rolled up sleeve look as well. It also fits in pretty well in many environments. For that immersion idea I prefer not to change up all of my outfits a lot - the idea being that a team like this is unlikely to be able to carry around tons of different clothing items (or have easy access to them). The exception is the high altitude snowy environments, when I have a different shirt (Crye combat shirt in one of the snow camo patterns), and a thermal cap in light tan. I also never change out my vest - always the same type and Multicam. Again the idea being that a team is not going to have a range of different plate carriers/vests available. I do use ghillie suits as needed though. But I don't keep them constantly equipped - way too heavy and hot for constant wear in real life. So I use them when scouting and infiltrating slowly, and remove before if I anticipate things are about to crank up. Speaking of Multicam, I swear that in a much earlier version of the game, Multicam was broken, and then they fixed it in a subsequent version. The whole idea of standard Multicam is that it is a transitional camouflage - great in many environments, but not perfect in any. Given how many environments are encountered in this game, it makes sense to me. However in an early version of the game it seemed way too yellow looking and bright, on pants and shirts and vests. However later I think the developers must have tweaked the colouring because it seems more realistic, and blends far better in many environments, as per real Multicam. Did anybody else notice this?
I have several different kits I go for. I have a Vietnam SOG kit, a SEALs recon kit, a kit with everything as Coyote Brown, an old-school and modern ranger kit, and a Civilian kit
I use a Nomad look from the base game art. I use Special Forces mostly I have a Navy SEAL/Ghost Future soldier outfit. A SAS night raid outfit. I have military contractor outfit. I use a Delta Force outfit. Last is a Scout Recon Sniper with Ghillie.
I use the cross com glasses 100% of the time. It's my explanation to myself as to why I have a HUD in general. Like Google glass :P but it shows me interest points in real time. The diamond above your teammates, the circles/chevrons above tangos and Intel/mission objectives. With these glasses I also use the Sonar goggles because of the B&W night vision 'upgrade' it comes with. I dislike the green vision. Oh & I couldn't forget El Jefe's Cigar :P I use it all the time too. Just for the bada$$ look.
You can customize your guys. My team is set up like classic GI Joe. (as close as you can get it) One guy is Dressed as Roadblock, one is Low Lite and one is Beachhead. I am dressed like Duke. Press I, then G to customize appearance, and click on the dots at the top of your picture, those represent your team members.
i usually just wear a tactec plate carrier over civilian clothes, maybe add some knee pads from time to time.. keep it simple and clean and to blend in with the population and the environment and in the same time comfortable for engagement, running, sneaking around and all that stuff.
My play style would be a mix between your two definitions. Like I have a few different outfits with color changes but basically with the same cloths, just some minor differences.
I decided to go with the Canadian special forces look with multicam (regular, black, arid and alpine) and a Canadian flag morale patch. It fits my 'stealth until caught' play style, but it adds realistic militaristic appeal. I made a second character who is a female US Marine with MARPAT type camo (digital camo, also with regional variants) and American flag patch. Advanced ballistics helmet is replaced with a toque for Alpine regions on both characters and they both have a couple odd ball civilian outfits to blend in as tourists. I play as the Canadian when I'm in a group, and joke about moose hunting. (And Yes, it shows that I'm Canadian of course)
I really wish all of the clothes from the costumes you buy were available to mix and match. Like the hood and boots from the Assassins creed one and the jacket from the division one
Do you ever create an outfit where when it starts raining in the game, that you adjust it to a jacket or do you just leave it as it is. Like if you have a casual outfit for the city type of look, do you switch it soon as it rains??
One of my sisters have that helmet with NVG, but she never bought any DLC, I'm curious as to how could she have got that, and she doesn't know either. That NVG helmet looks cool
I always use dark colours, because I am used to hide with the shadows, i the jungle it blends amazingly, in nighttime it looks stylish and well I will stop here
Personally my preference is A Boonie Hat and Gas Mask/Two Holes Bandana and a hoodie and any pants but i just change the color to suit the environment i am sneaking in and i am very good at sneaking as a player of Metal Gear Solid(if you wanna get really good at this game I recommend MGS, although go go for one of the newer games: MGS5)
I started a new character too! I like the idea resupply only at Rebel houses! I’m playing no-hud except Communication Markers are on. I will probably tweak hud as I go... I have the GRW app on my phone, too. You can sync it with your game and use it as your map! Even has enemy clouds (on/off toggle) for noobs. I don’t use this map function often, but it also has this fun Rebel guerilla game I play sometimes. Thanks for the ideas! With my Tier 1 character I like just trying out different guns! I mostly used the 556xi, SR-25, HTi, D-50, P227, MP5! Oh and the shotguns are fun sometimes. Especially the SASG-12 auto-shotty with a 30 round clip lol!!
I have a question, do the 2 pairs of glasses you showcased on your future soldier character have any sort of unique function similar to the night vision you get with certain helmets etc?? Good vid as always too 👍👍
Maybe I started playing after an update, but I was able to dress every member of my squad just as easily as myself. You just use the triggers to swap kits
I have been able to dress my squad but not the layouts they have which pisses me off a little bit but not as much as them not being accurate with their shots
Actually you do run around the desert with long sleeves down...you don't role them up 1. because rolling of sleeves isn't authorized once they went to the ACU 2. because rolling of sleeves is never authorized in a combat situation (it's only for garrison) 3. if you had them up in the desert your skin is going to get burnt AF I see some of my point was covered in another comment as well, but 3. is the big reason. Good video Dark!
You can create outfits for your team, even several setups like youeself :) sorry in Advance if this video is from before they added that. But yeah absolutely RP is the best about this game in the long run.. My friend and I have setups from different inviroments, or night time etc.. Super fun :)
Id spend time making a blend in suit if it actually mattered....which I honestly wish it did. If we wear heavy armor and green we should take hits better and blend into jungle and grass type areas better....

Dont forget those pesky mosquitos😜😜
Poison ivy and poison oak are the same thing and they also don’t grow in places like Bolivia but I would still use long sleeves
I actually use long sleeve shirts in my times I've played
Its indeed for overall protection but the sleeves are also rolled down in desert areas because sun
For my character I wanted three things:
1) Can blend in both the wilderness or among the civilian population.
2) Can still be comfortably worn in Bolivia's multiple weathers (won't sweat to death while trekking through the hot jungle or freeze to death in the mountains)

I then change tops, hats gloves and gilly suit depending on environment or what i pick my role to be.
As if all my equipment is in my backpack and im just changing in the field.
Great Video. Good to see I´m not alone with that RP Stuff.
Proxximo Amandil //// I try so hard to have that playstyle with my friends but whenever I play with them they turn into Rambo and it immediate takes away a huge chunk of the fun and the immersion
I play as real life special forces, like SEALS, SAS, Spetsnaz. Really fun when you go stealth.
I have always been using the Ghost Recon Future Soldier costume because it looks so cool! Now I might sink some time into outfit creation.
I spend a lot of time creating outfits lol
Darkdally same here. It's what I spend most of my time doing in this game. Lol XD
Darkdally me too probably more than on the dlcs combined 😂
you guys play on c
Xbox or ps3? lol
Mitch Garrett ps3 lmao
Cool desert spec ops outfit:
Bandana(sandstone)
Crye shirt and pants (dcu tricolor)
5.11 tactec plate carrier(sandstone, don't confuse with tac vest)
Cross com glasses
Sapper pack(black) OR rush24/whatever it's called, the one without the "belt", black
For the blending in I use some what dark and light colors but for standing out I use the Neptune blue on all the clothes and gear stuff I'm using
One thing you could do with the new mission (With Sam Fisher) is with the Sonar Goggles, you can only use night vision and no thermal for immersion (due to the old time night vision effect making them dated) Another thing that could be immersing is using Echelon goggles only for thermal.
Wish I had discovered this video before I got the predator because that's all I run now.
Bro, I’m loving this series great video keep it up
Another idea for immersion I’ve never really tried is, only use one primary weapon.
Wish they'd add some simple gloves like Mechanix
Gammacyn agreed, those are my shooting gloves irl, lightweight protective (from heat anyway) and they even come in camo
Yeah its looks cool
Gammacyn /// original or some impacts would be nice
Those are in the devision when your under lvl 30 gs 0
The gloves I think are the best besides pilot are the surgical gloves, but you have to buy them with irl money
I went for a Blue and tan solid snake kind of look for my first character. My second character took that same idea but with a green stealthier look. Then the third threw that out the window, and kitted out like a tank
You can change your squad looks.. .go into your loadout menu, then the character customization, then hit either the right bumper or trigger
You can customize your squad now!!😊🤗
Usually, my inspirations for outfits come from Medal of Honor (2010), Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and Battlefield 4.
Location: Bolivia
Status: FUCKING LIBERATED
As a badge of honor for completing the game 100%, I equipped the beret in place of my boonie hat with the Commando patch and finalized my uniform. Now I'm tiered and just play to unlock the handful of skills I missed.
Uniform:
Hair and Body - Squared Away and Clean (No Tattoos or Paint)
Tops - Commando, Camo Pattern (Region)
Vests - Molle Harness, Solid Color Matching Camo (Olive Vest with Woodland Shirt for example)
Pants - Commando, Camo Pattern (Region)
Footwear - Commando, Solid Color (Always Black)
Ghillie Suits - None
Eyewear - None
Facewear - None
Headwear - Boonie Hat, Camo Pattern (Region)
Headsets - Earpiece (Always Black)
Handwear - Fingerless Kevlar (Always Black)
Backpacks - 5.11 Rush24, Solid Color Matching Camo
Patches - Beret Skull
Call me vanilla but I went with a pretty bog-standard (If slightly british-leaning) spec ops loadout:
-FAST (Coyote brown) with black headset
- IBA Carrier (Coyote brown)
- Standard issue backpack (Coyote brown)
-Ballistic Goggles (black)
-Shemagh (white)
-Fleece (Woodland) OR T-Shirt (Some kind of brown I can't remember) if i'm feeling fruity
-Crye Precision Combat pants (Multicam)
-P416 (Black) with V2 Foregrip or M203GL and Comp M4
That's nice. If you switch to the Crye Combat Shirt in multicam you get something close to a navy seal outfit.
You can change your squad appearance in your customisation menu just hit L1 to move to each member.hope this helps
I wish outfits actually made a difference in this game like laying in the grass with a ghilli suit an enemy’s would just walk passed you.
Im a Marine and I can confirm that we do not roll sleeves in field enviornments
The advance ballistics helmet came with the special forces pack on the day it came out, cause it along with the gladiator set, in which has also a helmet with night vision but r PVS 14 model.
Great that they added you can dress the squad makes it more authentic
Ryan Sawchuk that isn't greedy at all. I think this is something everyone would want
@@johngriffith8009 Micro transactions sure ruined games.
They expecting us to pay 50-100 dollars for a game and almost the same for other stuff which should be come with the original fee.
If I didn't buy wildlands at a reduced price I wouldn't have bought any stuff in the store, with this I payed the original price when it came out and got a lots of extras.
I was just saying Ryan wasn't greedy but I never said anything about microtransactions not being greedy
Going the dadpat route when it comes to customization is always a must!
Thanks to your chanel I bought Wildlands, can't wait when I'm back home to play it :)
If you were in the desert long sleeves would keep you cold because when the wind blows it will cause your sweat to cool you off
I like the blue camo with the jaws bandanna for *maximum shark*
I try to blend in with the local population
U are able to change the out fit for ur squad for ps4 press the r2 button while your in custom character
I tend to play the budget option, aka this is your uniform, we didn't have enough money to buy more :P
Instead of buying things, you can use the trapper eyepatch for NV and TV
The clothing choice I typically go with is the contractor look. Think of 13 hours.
Think the customization of your team mates was added after this video was made. I do like the GI Joe theme you have.
i usually just wear a tactec plate carrier over civilian clothes, maybe add some knee pads from time to time.. keep it simple and clean and to blend in with the population and the environment and in the same time comfortable for engagement, running, sneaking around and all that stuff.
Do you play as a squad? Is there a team you play with? Do you all try are blend in when appropriate?
I really wish all of the clothes from the costumes you buy were available to mix and match. Like the hood and boots from the Assassins creed one and the jacket from the division one
@Darkdally It's actually a bad idea to roll up your sleeves in the jungle. Just sweat it, stay safe out there!
I'd like to see weapon wraps like the SR-1 Chameleon. And can change the color of the wrap and what kind of wrap
Here’s a good one turn down in game brightness all the way down so night vision is actually useful
I don't know if they didn't have this when you made this video. But you can change your teammates clothes.
After watching this video, I came op with something else. You can only check the map in a car unless you have a medium to large size backpack.
Just wondering how did you get that realistic AOR 1 camo, that looks real, like what the seals actually wear, in real life?
They should add in more camo options for clothing/ gear, like Tiger Stripe variants, MarPat, Ranger Green, Mossy Oak and other foreign camos
Oh ya, that Rebel guerrilla game on the GRW app also earns supplies for your main game!
I have a question, do the 2 pairs of glasses you showcased on your future soldier character have any sort of unique function similar to the night vision you get with certain helmets etc?? Good vid as always too 👍👍
Could you do a four seasons inspired outfits? I like making winter and Autumn themed suits but I can't match camos seamlessly.
Maybe I started playing after an update, but I was able to dress every member of my squad just as easily as myself. You just use the triggers to swap kits
Will you test what is the quietest submachine gun or assault rifle, and also does your choice of vest affect damage resistance?
I have been able to dress my squad but not the layouts they have which pisses me off a little bit but not as much as them not being accurate with their shots
I really like the business casual I just hate how it's not fully untucked
I believe the FG in ATACS FG stands for 'foliage green'?
Update just in! You can change your squad's outfits now. And you can get 4th Echelon kit if you do that mission with Sam Fisher.
it don't matter what camouflage you have. enemies detection is god like. i wear police units outfit ms which are all black.
Actually you do run around the desert with long sleeves down...you don't role them up 1. because rolling of sleeves isn't authorized once they went to the ACU 2. because rolling of sleeves is never authorized in a combat situation (it's only for garrison) 3. if you had them up in the desert your skin is going to get burnt AF
I see some of my point was covered in another comment as well, but 3. is the big reason.
Good video Dark!
Im still salty that the FAST helmet didnt came with NVGs in the Vanilla clothings
You can create outfits for your team, even several setups like youeself :) sorry in Advance if this video is from before they added that. But yeah absolutely RP is the best about this game in the long run.. My friend and I have setups from different inviroments, or night time etc.. Super fun :)
Now that you can change your teams look can we get team loadouts
You can change your squad I make them all look the same all you do it go on to your guy and press r1 and it skips to the other guys.
It wasn't available until year 2 update I believe.
Id spend time making a blend in suit if it actually mattered....which I honestly wish it did. If we wear heavy armor and green we should take hits better and blend into jungle and grass type areas better....
