  • In this short video I'll be showing one of many ways to paint leather. In this instance it's the leather long coats worn by the Primaris Chaplain (original) and the Judiciar. It's quick and easy, and looks great on the tabletop.

      Cheers Colin, very much appreciated! :) Slowly finding different ways to use the Contrast paints and they're really good! Some a little thin, but a couple of coats and they're fine! :)

    Loved it, never thought about putting contrast paint over the top of it. Very cool 😎

    This is a really cool guide, just the thing I need for my Inquisitor’s storm coat.

      It's a really simple method for them. Depending on the size of the area just Baneblade Brown with the Snakebite Leather Contrast looks really good to. A couple of highlights on the edges and it looks sound! :)

    This is great. I want to use this method on my kruelboyz shields. Any tips to making it look grungier and more worn?

      Cheers Spliff, very much appreciated. :) I have a few more leather vids coming out in the next few weeks that may be useful for a few different shades, and how to scuff them up. You could keep adding the lighter shades to create scuffs, or if you want to make parts of it look grubby, some agrax in a few layers around the bottom with a thin layer of nuln oil around the very bottom may do it :) Try it on a small section and see if it’s what you’re after in case I’ve misunderstood. Not feeling to hot at the mo and my brain’s a little fuzzy! 🤦‍♂️

    Real nice! Would the snakebite give a lighter colour compared to the gore grunta?

    • @BrushandBoltgun
      @BrushandBoltgun  3 года назад +1

      Cheers Alexander, very much appreciated. :) Yeah, that's right, the Gore Grunta is a bit more of a chestnut kind of brown, while the Snakebite is a kind of tan leather colour. :)
