Nice job. I recently installed the same SC Project exhaust to my 2024 R1M and it definitely improves the sound and look of the bike. I also added a Sprint P08 filter and BrenTune which fixed the fuel mapping and performance for this bike. If you are going to custom dyno tune this bike, you should remove the Smog system first...you'll get more accurate air/fuel readings and be able to dial in the the best map for your setup.

Did the same thing with mine 2 days ago & yea it was a pain in the ass to get that back mount screw through alone; I hooked a strap to the brake & was able to get enough pressure to hold it down by wrapping it around something and it made it a lot easier to

nice man i just sold my 2020 r1 things a beast, you def should of heard what it sounded like open headers before you put the exhaust on and def get a tune or the bike will have starting problems and it runs way too rich/lean

So you need to tune the r1 if you out an exhaust in it ? I got the same thing and looking at the same exhaust
If you get rid of the cat, yes. You will burn out the exhaust valves otherwise
Greetings from Spain how with 18 years old you have an R1 here in Spain you have to be 2 years old with one license to get another one and get at 20 years old an R1 but there in the USA how?
Easy, you just buy it. No hoops to jump through aside from the basic motorcycle license test. That said, an 18 year old shouldn’t have this bike if they want to live. Not enough maturity in 99% of men at that age.

Did you feel any minor air leaks where the exhaust meets the stock headers? Just got mine in 2 days ago and wondering if the exhaust will settle and fix itself.
Ultra copper silicone is what you need to get rid of exhaust leaks

Non removable, doesn’t do anything though it’s just so you can’t drop anything in the exhaust

I read the 2020 didn’t but the 2024 does have them

I believe only R1M comes stock with titanium headers, could be wrong, but that is what dealer explained to me.
2015-2019 had titanium headers, 2020-2024 R1M has titanium headers, 2020-2024 regular R1 has stainless steel headers

your stock headers are not titanium
The R1 2024 if it carries the titanium stock collectors. He takes them from the factory.

@@wrxzboost You must understand less English than I do. The motorcycle has titanium collectors and don't oppose me because I have the 2024 model motorcycle since February 8 and I work at Yamaha Motor Spain.
@@ab-ellottatore you probably mop the floors at the dealership. 2020+ yamaha R1's have SS headers. I know because I have a 22 and the part numbers are the same and they haven't changed since 2019. the 15-19 came with Titanium headers - in the US, no one cares about what you have in mexico.
