Although I don't think Roar was copied by Brave but you made a mistake in your calculations. If Brave was released 4 months ago, what made you think Roar had more than 6-7 months of preparation. Making music takes less than 3 months, especially considering Roar had little to none CGI or additional VFX, nor was the visuals extraordinarily unique. And my main point of argument. Brave was released 4 months prior, so it also must have taken atleast 2-3 months of preparation with all the same compliances as Roar had to go through.

There have been plenty of songs that have been written in 5 minutes and become bigger hits then either of these songs it sounds very similar but almost every song that is popular uses the same 4 cords so most songs have a good amount in common to begin with

Roar is my kid’s favorite song of all time, mind you that she was born in 2013 when it came out. Fun fact, it’s not fun actually and I won’t ever tell her this, but her father is my now ex-husband and the song Roar was frequently played by me during my pregnancy while I was finding my courage to fight back and stand up against her father’s abuse. He was not a great husband but he is a great father though he was adamant that I should have aborted the pregnancy. I was expected to be quiet and obedient under the reign of my husband in an old fashioned way. Roar encompassed my refusal to remain quiet and agreeable and he sure as shit was going to hear me roar, louder then a lion.
