    Roar isn't actually a Rip off. Sara said that both of them were good friends and have known each other for a long time. Sara also mentioned that, she knew about "Roar" before its release and she was upset with all the allegations. Also, Dr. Luke said that "Roar" was written and recorded earlier than "Brave".

    All of those “outraged” fans are literally just proving how little they know about the music industry behind the scenes lol. Roar was released only 4 months after Brave… 4 months. Do people understand how long the process is from start to finish? Between either writing or selecting a song, making arrangements and changes melodically, recording, editing, producing and licensing…. Roar was already a thing before Brave was released. 😂

    • @FactsZest
      @FactsZest Год назад +2

      Although I don't think Roar was copied by Brave but you made a mistake in your calculations.
      If Brave was released 4 months ago, what made you think Roar had more than 6-7 months of preparation. Making music takes less than 3 months, especially considering Roar had little to none CGI or additional VFX, nor was the visuals extraordinarily unique. And my main point of argument. Brave was released 4 months prior, so it also must have taken atleast 2-3 months of preparation with all the same compliances as Roar had to go through.

Fun fact, it’s not fun actually and I won’t ever tell her this, but her father is my now ex-husband and the song Roar was frequently played by me during my pregnancy while I was finding my courage to fight back and stand up against her father’s abuse. He was not a great husband but he is a great father though he was adamant that I should have aborted the pregnancy. I was expected to be quiet and obedient under the reign of my husband in an old fashioned way. Roar encompassed my refusal to remain quiet and agreeable and he sure as shit was going to hear me roar, louder then a lion.

    Both competed for the best pop performance at the Grammys and both of them lost to Lorde's Royals which is good because if one of them won, another fan war is about to come. Also, Lorde did deserve that. She change the Pop music and Royals is an excellent record

    I actually love both songs. I don't mind which one came first. But I listened to Brave first before Roar, so I still jammed with both.
