Did your mom pass away? If so, Im sorry for your loss. My mom passed away in October, and I made her a burial shawl, using Crystal's Annabelle shawl pattern. I was so pleased to be able to make her something pretty.

I would imagine eliminating the chain two space at the point would work, among other hacks to make this shawl not so pointy. As you crochet more, you can find little fixes like that to make your work your own. 😊
