Hey Yardbrah! Been binging your stuff and loving it! If I’m doing the math right, the simple lawn solutions at the recommended rate is less than 0.1 pounds of N per month per 1000. That’s why it’s not giving you that pop. Compared to a big box bag of fert is usually close to 1 lb of fert per 1000. Just wanted to chime in 😃

So annoying when it gets to Sunday and it's raining. New Allett Kensington 20inch ready for it's first mow still sitting in the garage. It's non stop wet here this year
So this comment is way overdue! I bought my first home last June in a Kansas and being from Brooklyn NY, never done anything having to do with lawn care. Hired a company and was charged upwards of almost 6 K,thinking it was what home owners do lol. I was on RUclips and bumped into just ONE of your videos and I walked through my yard and noticed ALL the thatch, patches, all kinds of issues. Long story short, felt totally taken advantage of. They came to mow and sprayed every now and then but never brought up anything about overseeding or dethatching, all things I learned from just that ONE video. Called them up and canceled a week before they were gonna start this years season. Been purchasing EVERYTHING, even got on the Evo deal! With all that spending, I still haven’t hit the 6k they charged me FOR ONE YEAR😅 purchased Blackout for a fall overseed, maybe even renovate instead. I wanted to thank you for the passion you have that resonates through the screen. I can honestly say you have given me the confidence I need to learn and take on my own lawn journey. Thank you again ! Also this one had me cracking up lol

The Very Best, and cheapest Liquid Fert on the market is not advertised as a liquid Fert. Diesel Exhaust Fluid aka DEF is the best bang for your buck. it's almost entirely uera(nitrogen) just make sure to wet it in after application, I apply it when it's raining 😂. I have 1 1/2 acre lawn scotts sun an shade mix like you so I get tons of stuff on the cheap and it is amazing

The green county has a line of liquid fertilizer. The same company that RGS you’re using. Been using their stuff for a few years now with good results. Im in the PNW as well. Keep up the good work brah!

Poa is becoming resistant to pre emergents and herbicides in transition zones. I live in middle Tennessee. It’ll die off in the summer, just doesn’t look good on our surrounds and greens
11:26 Can’t you use a pre emergent for Poa Annua if it keeps coming back again? I know you recently overseeded but maybe after those germinate? I hear that pre emergent is usually for the fall but I don’t know why we can’t do it for the spring especially if the lawn is already in good shape.

Your right Simple Lawn Solutions doesn’t have that pop like when I use Lawn Star iron alongside, GS plant food products. Just Lawn Star and GS alone 3days later and you will see. For me being in the transition zone I went out and brought all three Simple Lawn solutions bottles when you suggest we try it and it’s not giving that instant pop. I’m gonna use it here and there but I’ll go back to my GS plant food and Lawn Star. I also have my triple 18 ready to go. I’m gonna try Four Play this year over Hydretain. I’ll keep you updated

Should I use a surfactant with liquid iron? My Bermuda is green but I want it darker green to dominate. I used iron in my sprayer but the grass doesn’t seem to uptake it.
