Kevin your correct the Baltum Hotel doesn't have a pool but it does have a hot tub with sea views and a lovely rooftop bar.

That hotel has a roof terrace with a bar and jacuzzi on the roof stayed last year

No need for taxi there is a mini train which runs from the strip to the old town much cheaper than taxis and regular
