Quite a few of the bars on the side streets have live bands at night. Great atmosphere.

Love the videos man. Esp these Albufeira old town ones. I went there in 2019 before any covid lockdown. Instantly loved the place. Found it alot cheaper back then. Return in 2022 and noticed a massive jump in price on food and drink. I was charged 5e for a beer in many of the old town bars. The night life in old and new town was buzzing and I was charged 8e for a vodka and dash of cola. Madness. Like been back home in Dublin

What a lovely area with great choice of foods and fun. Did one of them 5D cinemas with my son in Magulluf. I think this one here is cheaper, bargain. Thanks for showing.
The shaded bit is where the old fishmarket was located. I first visited Albufeira in 1986 and it was amazing. Returned a few times after that but most recently in March 2020 just before lockdown and saw a few changes.
I stayed whole summer in 1984..❤ gorgeous ❤relaxing place and Fab Food.❤.lots of places there now...but the modernization has been done well...still beautiful..❤

Kev, the Missus and I used this beach 20 odd years ago and it's absolutely stunning, however the water was absolutely freezing compared to the Mediterranean (wonder if its still the same), maybe your viewers could tell me ?. And now onto today's story, 2 explorers in the jungle come across a huge lion and 1 says "Keep perfectly still", then bends down and puts on a pair of trainers, his mate says " What the hell are you doing you can't out run a lion ?", his mate says "maybe not, but I can out run you. Take care buddy.

The Atlantic is pretty nippy even as far down as the canaries, and yes the sea off the Algarve is pretty chilly the last time I got in and that was in June, but you quickly get used to it.

I always book in the hotel above the cinema when I stay in Albufeira old town. Its a great spot.

What's the name of the Hotel.. please ? Above the Cinema...as I want to Stay ..Old Town only...have beautiful memories from 80s there..

Never been but can you recommend good hotel not far from old town and 4 star if poss , cheers great videos ,,
thanks best to check locations on trip advisor I didnt walk into any 4 star hotels unfortunately there but I am sure there are a few. My hotel was 2 star so avoid that one lol.
Brisk Sol hotel is ideal for access to both old and new towns, been several times and would recommend.

Just back from vilamoura. First time there beautiful but not for me to expensive for restaurants Los Cristianos beats it hands down roll on September
