that part is referring to bardoks dead saiyan friend. Bardok used the bandana to try and stop their bleeding but they still died. It turned the white bandana red with blood.
hes at the same time referencing to bloods
that scene was sad though cause Bardock lost his entire team and his closest friends

@@joehicks929 let me correct y'all it wasn't Hanumana the guy who challenged everyone to move his leg it was actually Angada the son of the ape king who was sent as a peacemaker before the war because the bad guy had abducted the good guy's wife. So this ape man Angada challenged everyone that if anyone present in Ravana's (the bad guy) court could move his leg they'll take back the army and never comeback, everyone thought it was easy but nobody succeeded in making his leg even budge. Seeing his sons, commanders and ministers fail the bad guy decided to try himself and Angadha retrieved his leg and the bad guy's crown fell off. Later Angadha took the crown back to the good guy. It's a bit complicated but accurate, btw this legend is called Ramayana and its a pretty important epic in hinduism. As y'all can imagine the bad guy later died by the hands of the good guy (Lord Rama). And nevertheless, Hanumana did play a key role in the war afterall he was the strongest fighter, fighting for the good.
