@@Samuel-vm2yp ngl out of those three anime the only one I'd consider "overrated" in any capacity is Demon Slayer, I mean, the animation is great, but the story is... Eh, and I think people got so caught up in how pretty it looked that they kinda forget that the story and characters are pretty bland (so far at least, idk the cast but a bit more interesting nearer the end of the season) and tend to oversell it a bit.
MHA in the other hand is a pretty generic shounen, sure, but even though it's just another wheel, it rolls pretty dam well, and is smart enough/ unique enough to be worth watching. I know it's got a pretty... Roudy fanbase, but since when have typical battle shounen ever NOT had that? Let teens gush over their favorite anime like all the Naruto, Bleach and DragonBall Z kids did. Besides, it's got a pretty solid story, ignoring the Overhaul ark... And it does what it sets out to do - inspire teenagers and get them hyped up. Story wise it's solid, it's got a nice art, mostly good animation in the show (again, ignoring the Overhaul ark) and a pretty solid cast. I don't really consider it overrated, just deservedly popular, and a show that appeals to a lot of emotionally immature teens, which is bound to get a bunch of them overly excited.
(Dr Stone seems to have the appropriate amount of hype around it, not too much but appreciation for the use of "realistic" science over a power system.)
@Matthew Bibby I agree with u but the hype over demon slayer is that it has one of if not the best animation in all of anime but it’s still overrated in terms of story but MHA is overrated I never said it was bad i think it’s not as great as it’s hyped up to be

Madara would have been a better villain if he was the final boss and they did more with his backstory involving hashirama, Pain imo was the best written villain in shounen history.

Man, you were on top of it! This came out quick! Speaking of good cyphers, you’d definitely be into Gameboy Jone’s Uchiha Rap Cypher and Rustage’s Konoha 12 cypher. The Uchiha cypher has godly rhyme schemes, and the Konoha 12 cypher’s bars are crazy. Plus, Dan Bull is in the Konoha 12 Cypher.
