- This (almost 5 hour!) video documents my attempt to ride a unicycle 674km across the entire width of Latvia. I’m alone and unsupported, wild camping along the way. If this wasn't challenging enough I'm also sticking exclusively to an off-road hiking route, named the Baltic Forest Trail!

3:24:10 is a "kupica" - a small mound denoting a cadastral border edge/corner dug up during land survey. It is supposed to have a post/marker placed, but this one is missing it. These are common in rural areas and one of the official ways for forestry lands to indicate land borders.

Hey Ed! Been following you for about 5 years now, (The round the world trip was off the scale BTW!) I absolutely loved watching this, I can honestly say it's the best thing I've watched on any channel for a long time, and I'm talking about all the mainstream/Netflix **** that we get hit with 😞 I paricularly loved your drone footage, (very nicely edited btw) I'm not sure what your long term plans are, but I would seriously recommend you investigate the world of media production, as I think you would be a natural, both in front or behind the lens! Anyhow, you are an inspiration to all would be adventurers, whether they be actual or armchair. God bless you mate!

The green vegetable in 3.38 is in germany very popular. Its called Kohlrabi, an kin of cabbage. You can eat it raw or cooked. Schoolkids get it also in ther lunepacked for school. :)
And you have to peel it for a better taste.

Hey Ed! I know you often take your drone with you while on your unicycle adventures for some unique perspectives. I recently heard about the Hover Air X1 from watching Terry Unigeezer on YT. Have you heard of it? It's being called more of a flying camera than a drone. While it does have its limitations, its smart modes, automation, and ease of use makes it a really cool tool for getting some great shots unlike other cameras can! 🙂

Curious about the diet, I understand you may not want meat cause its a bit heavier on the cycle, but no protein at rest stops? I'm just curious if you're vegetarian or if that's a secret trick to maintaining pace somehow.

You ever think about using trekking poles with your unicycle? Might help with narrow trails and climbs! Also an umbrella can be fun on a windy day. :D
I've ridden with an umbrella but I almost flew away like Mary Poppins🤣🤣🤣🤣 also the poles wouldn't really help since you use your arms for balance and then to constantly be moving your arms with the poles alter your balance
