Surprised how much I loved this on release but Alone one of their best ballads period and lots tasty moments throughout. While agree some songs were too long (needed tightening up perfectly explained ;) Think tho the short interludes are essential in creating the moods and atmospheres for such a concept. In fact some of those short interludes are simply beautiful and my favourite moments. Not a classic, indulgent and a long listen, and not one that throws horns up too often, but otherwise stull great JP and a perfect escape when in the mood. Particularly dig your traditional metal episodes and for supporting XFactors and the like :) Cheers from Down Under and subscribed \m/
For me the first CD is killer - totally love it. The second CD never grabbed me the same way - a little subdued compared to the first. Definitely underrated as a whole.
Aite you’ve convinced me to go back and give it another go 5 odd years after I last tried to sit through the whole thing. Be interested to see if there’s as much padding as i remember. I seem to remember liking all the songs named after horsemen
Ever- together with Resurrection (Halford), Screaming, Invincible Shield (Priest)@@nightmarecabin8933 - Since I love every second of Nostradamus it is not too long for me...
There is a dvd for Priest live. And it is one concert (Dallas) I think. Even if it sounds pretty polished. And they have obviously addes lots of overdubs.
This was the last one my dad listen to before he died I love this album for that this is 8/10 love prophecy
