All I’ve got to say is that heel looked really good after the grinder, now to keep and maintain the heel, apply urea cream and apply socks and or Vaseline at night when sleeping 😮
I did one with the booties. I'm diabetic so must be careful. My hels were so cracked it hurt to walk. The peel was vgreat the thick skin peeled off in large pieces. Kept working for days and really helped my feet.
The only reason I would caution you on the sander is because it creates a lot of heat and you can end up with a huge blister! If you do it, go slow and move around the area so that you're not concentrating on one spot because once it gets hot it's too late.
My friends mother had a pedi-egg LONG LONG ago. It was manufactured incorrectly, and the blades took a HUNK out of her heel, causing a horrible infection, hospitalization, and this year an amputation. Yes. Lawsuits in the works.
I'm so sorry that happened to her! I wish he would pin your comment because people really don't understand how severe a foot skin injury can become, and how sometimes the very products designed to help them can be to their detriment.
As an unlicensed medical doctor I can assure you sandpaper is fine, but please use no less than 120 grit. Start with 220 to be safe and use an orbital or vibration sander and not a belt grinder. Stop sanding when you feel heat or pain.
Look, Doc, we're broke and can't afford doctors nor medical care. But we can burrow a sander from work for $60 per 24hrs. Much cheaper than, well, you.
@@kylieshaye6562 You can buy it at a pharmacy and does not need a prescription. There may be a stronger strength that requires a prescription, but you can def buy amylactin without one.
I used a foot peel and I used one of those foot cheese grater looking tools from Target and it peeled my foot RAW, LOL i could not walk for almost four days. T-T be careful with those peels. If you use product, LET THE PEEL FALL OFF BY ITSELF!! DO NOT SCRUB IT HARD, lightly if any- but wouldn't mess with it yo.
This foot will hurt for days after this procedure. Use a soak and gently take a small amount of skin at a time, not a who lot. It's a great grinder though!
Thats not a grinder thats a belt sander and on it is the same stuff we use when we scrub our heals. If you know what grit youve got and youre careful it actually seems like a good idea to me 😅
Look doc, that's a God dang belt sander, not a grinder
Seriously doc just stay in the ER and leave the sanding to the professionals
😂 he only knows grinder

Are you talking about the show "Martin"?
@@andrewt3417 yup😝
That's what I thought. A classic show! "The Simpsons" and "Martin" back to back. Thursday nights were never better.

Omg! Nope I like my feet. I use a 15% lactic acid cream (Amlactin) after I shower. Makes my feet super soft.
Where can you purchase that cream? Is it a prescription?

Soaking your feet in warm water after a few days using the food peel also helps speed up the peeling process gently.
Oh my gosh that's awful, you did too much be careful
Strongly against it? I wonder why?

You’re saying no but the results look amazing. I might actually try it
