When I was younger, my dad would sing me "My Hands Are Shaking" by Sondre Lerche, a song that I'd always be humming later in life, but never trully knew where it was from, besides hearing it from my dad. Then I googled what I remembered of the original lyrics, I had changed some words but I ended up finding it; Sondre Lerche was my guy That led me to finding out Dan in The Real Life, then it's soundtrack. I'd never had so many memories get unlocked inside my brain like that. All the songs made me picture images of me, like the end of a movie based on real occurrences, when they show who the actors were playing in real life. Everytime I listen to the songs here I feel the same, it's literally impossible to make me sad while im listening to them. They make me picture future scenarios, living good moments with my friends, etc. All the songs here have helped me become the person I am now, and for that I am very thankful.
The whole family especially the dad, reminds me of my family, literally the dad dresses and has the behavior of mine, it makes me so emotional and full of so many different emotions and feelings.
What do you call this kind of guitar play at 0:50 (Dan in Real Life) ? I'd love to look for instrumental music like this for my own video productions. It's such a calm, soothing thing, how the guitar is plucked, and later another guitar starts swirling on top. Love it!
