- Most Basic Build In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Is Actually Overpowered!
Since all the beginner entry level moves got buffed over the course of Xenoverse 2, it creates a space where all the moves you get when you start up the game for the first time as a new player are actually really good for the rest of your play experience without needing any DLCs to do this well!

It’s interesting to think all of these og beginner moves did eventually get buffed to god status but knowing Bandai I don’t think it was intentional to make things easier for new players 😅
I feel like you just created a character, looked at what moves your given and decided "yea, that's fine" and ran with it. The best part is that I still love a lot of these skills. Meteor Strike is my go-to "What can I use to help me with X build" Super sense it doesn't have an aura or ki component so you can use it for literally anything. Helps that Meteor Strike is a good skill also.
They'll buff basic, starter, throw-away moves, but won't buff DLC moves that you must PAY for... 😬
That and they also continue to nerf Kid Buu for no reason🗿

@@anond5754 okay so a while back they nerfed one of the combos on the purification form for Majins so that they wouldn’t do unbalanced amounts of damage, but since the purification combos are the same as Kid Buu’s combos the nerf also indirectly nerfed Kid Buu’s damage as well which was horrible for him because the combo didn’t really do that much on him to begin with
Because DLC moves are already good. Even with damage/property changes, attacks like Menacing Flare or Chaos Shot would still be bad because they're simply slow and do the same thing other attacks do but worse.
You're confusing usable/good with meta, and if you're not good at the game then of course the moves that nobody uses aren't going to be used to much effect in your hands.
Besides, isn't it a bit ridiculous to be talking about balance when you still play Breakers? That game fucking sucks and it's only getting harder for survivors to fight back against the big bads thanks to some more recent changes, and you have to pay 20 dollars for that don't you?

As a female sayain Consecutive energy blast was my move up until trap shooter. Also I'm not going to sugar coat the ki blast Combo. That is my basic combo. 125 ki, 125 ki blast attacks, and +5 qq bank

Trap shooter IS GOOD but destruction concerto meteor IS OBJECTIVELY BETTER IN EVERYWAY....
Any knock away into meteor becomes a combo extension and every landed meteor is over a full bar of health.... I actually don't even know just how much damage it is because I use a male Saiyan with the skill and male Saiyans ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE to female saiyans in terms of ki blast damage... And my male Saiyan does a full bar... Without a damage super soul....
So I'd imagine a lvl120 ki blast 200 female Saiyan in blue evolution with an XXL damage boost super soul would be OTHERWORLDLY damage

First day at school type build. Also energy volley gets a bad rap. It’s a pretty good move and using it raw is funny.
For the first ultimate you get in the game, it’s definitely pretty strong

I made a one punch man cac a few days ago lol I used all of tbose moves minus mach punch. I used super dragon flight instead, and since apparently I don't have power rush I just used justice combination
@NonSoSmartPerson the reason why I put mach punch is because is looks a tiny bit like consecutive normal punches

I prefer FP Energy Wave over Super Kamehameha and Final Flash. Costs the same, less damage sure, but I like the way it looks and it fires quicker than both. Whatever gets the job done.
It also hits after some knockbacks even without a stamina break. Male Saiyans have the easiest time with the ridiculous knockback of their XY lol (I believe you can also hit final flash too)
I remember seeing the guy who originally commented this and thinking “wouldn’t that still be like…really good though?”

Ki cancels and ki stuns are 2 different things steed. Your getting confused. Ki stuns hit your opponent and open up free combos. Ki cancels only get you out of a combo animation that your stuck in and have no effect on your opponent . All ki cancels do is keep from giving your openent a free combo while your stuck in an animation
Both of which I see as completely fair tools to use.... People cry about them way too much honestly... One of my better characters is towa and I almost NEVER ki cancel with towa even when I miss her THOUSAND PUNCH animations.... But if I am playing frieza.... I'm going to ki cancel.... I do this because it's not about being stuck in an animation it's about how likely my backhit is to land...if I have a good backhit I won't even bother trying to ki cancel away because my ki cancel is replaced by a backhit....
There is ONLY 1 CHARACTER who has an ok backhit that I ki cancel with and that's on the rare times I choose to play hit.... Because his ki cancels are actually stupidly broken
@user-tv3sk5cs4w I feel it but I used to main hit and he litterally has the slowest back hit ever worst back hit in the game which is fine he's too good he don't need a backhit anyways lol . His back hit is good though if your good at predicting bc it doesn't look like it's gonna hit and still does its just slow . Merry Xmas though bro!!! Have a good one
@@whodey4851 clearly you don't use frieza because Friezas backhit is horrendous and leaves you stuck for a stupid amount of time.... Hits backhit isn't THAT bad.... Sure it's slow but it's not leaving you frozen for 7 years bad...

The way Dragon Ball can fix ki cancel is putting Lag on Ki,Press B won't be able to move after a second is easier to fix
For any new players that have problems with stamina breaks, critical upper is your answer. It's dodoria's move so no dlc needed. On any race, it'll lead to a stamina break.
I especially hate seeing people dashboard now because it’s even more unfair nowadays since Series S|X players literally can’t do it
