When you do your positioning flight to JFK for the transfer, isn't it annoying having to pickup your checked bag then rechecking with Singapore to FRA?
You could not check a bag. I never ever ever check one. First because of all the lost bag nightmares I've seen, but secondly, because it just adds so much time in between. Packing light is your friend. For long trips, I find a laundry service or rent an airbnb with laundry onsite.

LAX to BKK is available on SQ with a stopover in SIN. Guess your question is talking about saver space availability which would then be a different question

I found this same flight for later this year using just 60k miles + 77 CA dollars booking through Air Canada.

No 5th freedom on SQ. But u can search for star alliance partners. Eg TG will have flights out of BKK and u can redeem your KF miles to travel on TG

Why cant i find transfer to Krisflyer for my Amex Cobalt card from Canada
Because the transfer partner for Amex Canada is different from the states. The states has a lot more partners. He should have made that clear

For example there is sporadic business saver availability on LAX-BKK for some dates in March23. Else advantage rate is wide open.
