When Richard entered the "cave" and paul was stood with his back toward us that gave me a fright. I thought that you was a monk paul😂. An absolutely beautiful and stunning place to visit. The huge burial mound is absolutely spectacular, the landscape is wonderful. What a treat. To think also Britain's oldest road and how many people have walked it/ horse and cart too. Xx💟

I am always entranced by the thought of how many people have travelled that road. We also walk the stretch in the Chilterns too and we hope to do a video of that one day soon too.

That was fabulous Richard and Paul! I have been interested in archaeology since I was young so I loved this video. You are so fortunate to be in a part of the world that has so many prehistoric and historic features. I was lucky enough to get to England once and visited London, Canterbury, and Dover and their sites. I loved the day I spent at the British Museum (yes, I bought the souvenir coffee mug :-). I would love to see any future tours you guys might take us on!

We are lucky and Wiltshire has many places...much of the landscape is unchanged since those times apart from agriculture. We hope to get our and about more often to show you other sites. Did you see my video on Alderley Edge? There are two...one about the legend of Alderley and the other is called Easter trip up north. The place we visit is another ancient site full of history and mystery.

Yes, I did see those videos when you first posted them. Enjoyed them both and definitely got the mystery vibe.

Silbury HIll is probably a burial mount for cremated remains experts say as they found so little bone evidence and only a lot of vegetation and small bones and ceramics. As for Long Barrow, archaeologists think the bodies were laid out there and ppl took their ancestor out for a visit. Hence not many bones or skeletons today. A literal House of the Dead and ppl living in little villages all around could see both hills and their ancestors.
Wonderful videos, thank you for shooting and sharing them.

Our history is so incredible , for such a small island we have much to learn ! Many of these places should be given better interest . I'm sure that there is much more to discover . Perhaps , in time , some folk will find a massive amount of marvellous historical evidence , in the meantime , Thank you 💞

What a beautiful area and yet oddly sends a bit of chills up my neck just thinking about the folks from many many years ago. Completely enjoyed this tour with you two. Did Paul manage to find the seeds and get any of them to germinate on your plot?

Wow. Awesome indeed. Great filming; thanks so much for this. My cousin lives in England and it looks like she's not that far from Avebury. I think I need to visit.

Wonder if people used to live in those little chambers you know kind of like a caveman condo? Who knows. Very interesting.
