When the Passion of the Christ came into the movie theater I was in an area of my life where I was being attacked by the enemy on all sides: job discrimination/termination, unfortunately domestic violence, which I believe caused my cancer, loss of income, pending loss of disability income, and homelessness. I had just gone through my second trial of endurance with cancer and found that the real test was of trying to survive a financial comeback after having been fired by my employer. From 2001-2004, I lived on a street called Moses Lane but couldnt make the connection that God wanted me to make my own Exodus from my surroundings. Before the movies release I had seen an interview on ABC news with Mel Gibson & Jim Caviziel about the movie and my spirit was renewed. Somehow God was telling me to not lose hope.
I absolutely love when the passion in his spirit, The Holy Spirit, rises up in his speech. What a vessel. Thank you Lord Jesus for men who trust in You and speak up.
Passion of Christ is the only movie I have ever felt physically ill in. I was a very lukewarm Christian at the time and not born again. I was shocked at my reaction at the time which was obviously spiritual more than physical. Now I understand, like Jim, that in 2023 playtime is over and the lukewarm will be swallowed up.

When the Passion of the Christ came into the movie theater I was in an area of my life where I was being attacked by the enemy on all sides: job discrimination/termination, unfortunately domestic violence, which I believe caused my cancer, loss of income, pending loss of disability income, and homelessness. I had just gone through my second trial of endurance with cancer and found that the real test was of trying to survive a financial comeback after having been fired by my employer. From 2001-2004, I lived on a street called Moses Lane but couldnt make the connection that God wanted me to make my own Exodus from my surroundings. Before the movies release I had seen an interview on ABC news with Mel Gibson & Jim Caviziel about the movie and my spirit was renewed. Somehow God was telling me to not lose hope.

Passion of Christ is the only movie I have ever felt physically ill in.
I was a very lukewarm Christian at the time and not born again.
I was shocked at my reaction at the time which was obviously spiritual more than physical.
Now I understand, like Jim, that in 2023 playtime is over and the lukewarm will be swallowed up.
I am likely to say Amen to that. There is a lot of work to do and, when I first watched this, it also touched me in a surprisingly spiritual way...and has inspired me.

I love Jesus with all my heart. But I've lost my way so many times, doubted him and God almighty, when in times of trouble. But my love hasn't reduced a bit. To me, Christ is and will always be my saviour. I hope Jesus and God Almighty can forgive me and bless me throughout my life here on earth. I'm sure you are blessed.
