- OnePlus Open 2 is going to be the ultimate rival for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, which can crush the Z Fold 6.
OnePlus Open already make it's mark in the global market and gave the specs and design which is best foldable phone 2023. now OnePlus Open 2 leaks are starting to surface. Samsung foldable already lost in chinese market share and OnePlus Open 2 is the chinese fold that can give severe blow to the Z Fold 6 in the Global Market aswell.
Although OnePlus Open 2 news are just started to come but the OnePlus Open 2 upgrades we have seen is already huge that can even rival with Z Fold 7, so if we compare the Z Fold 6 VS OnePlus Open than surely Z Fold 6 is ahead in terms of latest tech and processor. but if we compare OnePlus Open 2 VS Z Fold 6 then there is no chance for Z Fold 6.
OnePlus Open design language was already ahead of it's time in global market and that is why samsung is pacing up to cover it's grounds in global market but OnePlus open 2 upgrades are no stopping as you may already know, ONEPLUS Never Settles.
OnePlus delayed the OnePlus open 2 release date, but it gives the smartphone edge that samsung can't compete.

in many departments Original OnePlus is still enough to compete with upcoming rumored upgraded z fold 6
Fold 6 just came out and even the OnePlus Open 1 still beats it all around, with the exception of AI. Otherwise, the Fold 6 still has 12gb RAM just the same as the Fold 5 vs. the 16gb RAM on the OnePlus Open. With the OnePlus Open STILL, having a bigger battery, bigger screen, and STILL, way less folding crease (almost unnoticeable to the touch, and visual as well), as even the new Fold 6. The Fold 6 is still a candy bar. Don't get me wrong, I love Samsung. I still have the s23 Ultra as my secondary phone line, but I'm really pissed knowing that Samsung could've (with their capabilities), made some really necessary dimensional/ size changes. They're really acting like Apple with their subtle changes, yet, making them sound as if they're drastically new, in old chasis/ designs. AI is just AI. AI really is made to promote more laziness, and fire people from doing human jobs. That's all it's meant to do. Then again, the OnePlus Open 2 is rumored to have AI as well, if it even comes out this year, otherwise, I'm extremely happy with my OnePlus Open.

I was wanting the Fold 6, but I might want to wait for the new OpenPlus Open. It might be worth the wait next year.

If one plus doesn't hide the internal camera under the screen with clever pixels like Samsung does I'm not buying it. It's 2024 there's no reason to have a hole punch camera on a nearly $2,000 phone

Lol so the single dot on the screen where the camera is bugs you, but not the entire front screen being a completely fucking stupid dimension that makes the phone basically unusable when it's not open? It's literally impossible to watch a video on the front screen of any fold because they couldn't use a normal aspect ration for FIVE FULL GENERATIONS NOW. But damn that dot better be worried -_-

It is waterproof, OnePlus just didn't pay for the IP rating as it adds to the cost. Why would you take your £2000 precious folding phone into the pool or anywhere near vast water anyway.
It's a far superior device and redefined the foldable with it's capabilities and build quality.
I've had mine since December and it hasn't put a foot wrong. I've had pints of beer spilled over it in the pub and no defects at all
I still cant believe they dont support BMW Android Auto. Very disappointing.
