You get your own room?
The Army runs on paperwork. Don’t ever throw away any paperwork you receive while in the Army. It will be that one piece of paper that will enable you to secure a VA home loan, get money for school, or a degree of disability from the VA. My dad kept everything for decades after he retired from 30 years in-service.
I am in the army and 100% agree
Fort Drum was my first duty station. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but I do now. Fort Hood was my second station, which I was excited about because I'm from Texas, but it wasn't that great in hindsight. Drum is beautiful.
Drum isn’t that bad I agree
Ft. Hood was definitely not the best place in my opinion for the first duty station. Met great people in my unit, but the leadership wasn't the greatest. My unit had a amazing CSM who redeemed my faith until I ETSd. Wish I'd have gone somewhere else first however 💯
i’m at Meps right now, i’m swearing in tomorrow, excited!
Hell yea bro 💪🏾
Congratulations
@@houseofmatrix6174 thanks bro! getting shipped off tomorrow!
@@silhouetteboy9219 congratulations keep your kool it will be hell on earth
@@houseofmatrix6174 appreciate the advice man; i’ll take heed of that
Aaron is currently a Command Sergeant Major. 😊
Getting Shipped To Fort Jackson In 12 Days for Basic I’m so excited and ready for the start of my new Journey Thank you Aaron for your videos much love brotha❤🙏🏽
Congratulations bro get through it will be rough at first but after two weeks it will be smooth
This was 6mo ago. Did you just now finish your ait?
This will very much come in handy, thank you for another great video, Battley.
Im at Humpreys (South Korea). After being here for about 3 months, I can say this place ain't bad at all and South Korea in general is pretty dope.
I'm thinking of military and wanna do whatever possible to start a life in South korea do you have any advice for what would give me higher chances of being sent out to korea
@@Phinch I leave on june 5th for basic and hope i get korea as my 1st station as well
@@voilesss Definitely keep me informed with the process would love to know how it turns out best of luck soldier :)
Straight outta OSUT I got sent to Fort Polk , and immediately got deployed to Kuwait 😂😂
lol I go to Polk here in 14 days after my hometown recruiting. Is the units good? What is it like?
Was in the reserves. 92F going into Active Duty as an 11X. Heading out to Moore ( Benning ) in a month. After that I hope I get a decent duty station haha
Same situation here but as a 92A also going as a 11x ill be at Benning in feb 6
Heading to fort drum this week Thursday
Drum love it !
How is it ?
Hey man! I saw a lot of your videos prior joining. It’s been over a year since I’m at FT Hood. Not a bad base at all!
I"ve already been in for almost three years (Guard) but, I'm looking to try and transfer to Active Duty. Given my MOS (74D), I'm hoping to go OCONUS to Korea where a lot of my AIT buddies are currently at. I know the chance is probably slim, but everyone I've talked to who has been stationed there have loved it.
In 1996, I transferred from National Guard into Active Duty it was the best decision I ever made. #GoArmy🎉
I'm right now in the airport waiting for my last flight to my first duty station, after 16 weeks of horrible AIT that I had I hope things become better :(
this is very helpful thank you so much. im in fort drum too :)
Going to fort hood this Saturday 😅
Rip
Boutta do hometown recruiting and then Germany baby!
8:15 great advice on drinking with people you've never been around when drunk
Aaron is this your original channel or is this a new one watched some of your old videos but I'm school I know you can't get in the military without your HSD or GED
I was at Drum in 2nd BCT. 4/31 Inf. Polar Bears!!!!!!1 The unit was cool but I had to hurry back to Fort Bragg, NC I mean now it's Ft. Liberty, NC
Still thinking about joining the army.
Been hearing a lot of bad stuff recently since I told people, especially those who were in.
Experiences may vary!
Even if you do just 4 years. In the end it’s super worth it for your career wise. And you can always start in one branch and go to another if you want to as well. But it’s all personal preference!
@@RadicalHANSTER do you kill anyone within those 4 years
@@uncleruckus8424no bro lol
@@vicvicvicvicvic oh…my bad😂
Im leaving from AIT to fort Carson in 6 days. Kinda nervous cuz I ain’t got no clue what to do, but I heard it’s dope up there.
What brigade did you end up in and mos?
Hey Aaron! Can you travel to seoul on your off days because I read that some places are off limits? Also are their curfews? In general how far are you allowed to travel. By the way your videos are by far the most informative. I appreciate you fam.
Did you ever find out ?
I just completed MEPS, ill be going to FT Leonard Wood for basic and AIT then ill be stationed at FT Drum
Just graduated from OSUT at FT Leonard Wood, it’s not bad, reception just sucks🤣

I got Fort Drum as my first duty station.. I graduate AIT Friday and I’m nervous to say the least.. idk what to expect so this video has helped calm some of my nerves I’m a 12w so a carpentry and masonry specialist and idk what to expect.. also I’m probably gonna hate pt in the cold 😂
what happened
@@derrickbass4542 did my in-processing and went to my unit, it went great and you don’t really do much of anything pt wide outside so it’s not bad whatsoever no need for me to be nervous, but now Ik that
@@dustinbyrd2912how long is in-processing? I have a family thats why im asking
@@cyrusthegreat7472 in processing usually lasts about a week but it all determines on if you get your stuff done in that week or not you could be there for months if you don’t finish the things needed to go to basic
@@cyrusthegreat7472 with basic and AIT I finished all of my training in 6 months total from day I left for basic to the day I finished AIT and got my duty station
Ngl I made me start posting military videos I appreciate the content U make frfr
I'm not even in boot camp I'm trying to pass the THC test but I'm pushing really hard hoping I can get sent out after my son's birthday and I wanna get stationed in Hawaii

I’m going to Hawaii (25th Infant Division, 3rd BCT) For my first duty station… Any tips or anything that could help me know what to expect from it?
Ya I'm going to fort drum as my first duty station
I’m at my first duty station, Fort Stewart
What is your MOS?
In this video I know that my 2nd duty station was in Fort Gordon and we were deployed to Fort Drum on a NATO exercise but the ARMY will always take care of all the troops and when I was in Korea and I got my orders to go to Fort Gordon in Augusta they told me what to expect so I didn't worry about anything even when I was going to Germany I still didn't worry what's the use worry about nothing and any branch of the military
Really good video helpful advice thanks
Thansk for watching Liam!

Go to Clark hall they should be able to help you
Hey, so I’m debating about going to the army. I wanted to join for benefit purposes I want my MOS to be 68e. The only thing I’m nervous about is if I will have to fight. If I will become a 68e is there a possibility that I may have to fight if we go to war?
You’re a soldier first so there’s always a chance of you fighting… but now the reality is that the chance is really insignificant you will mainly be doing your job especially as a 68E
What is the 68e? Do they show the MOS on the Army website?
68E is dental assistant and no if war broke out you as a 68E would never in the light of day see combat or be any where near it lol
You are not a warrior if you are afraid of dying.
Fort Drum!
Fort Campbell
Fort Lewis washington
How do you like it so far?
coin goes hard
I’m saying 😮💨
Fort Carson
I wanted to go to jump school after AIT then they said I would be a hold over and go to Korea I said no thanks I'll go to Germany
