Something similar happened to me in a certain Melbourne street that has many Italian restaurants. The waiters tapped teaspoons on the side of a coffee glass as I walked by (without my partner)...the noise resonating up the street and the waiters instantly appearing at the doorways ahead. When the waiter at the last restaurant didn't tap his glass, it was confirmed to me why they were doing it!

It’s MEN! I live in the United States and when I was younger I was a sales person and had to travel by car throughout the United States! I was blonde and at that point I was pretty attractive and everywhere I went the man in trucks blew their horns and tried to contact me over their CB radios! It works out though because when you do get into a problem situation which I did occasionally it was the truckers who always came to my aid they were very polite and gave me the help that I needed and then we were on our way! I also had it walking down the street with the workmen giving me a wolf whistle! So it’s man all around the world not just Italian men!

There's no doubt Holly missed mummy but from the filming Carlo did, Holly was quite happy to be with Daddy and to have some one on one with him, too. I have to say that when you were in the small town in the Italian Alps showing the views, it reminded me a little bit of scenes from the childhood film "Heidi". It's always lovely to come home after a trip away and both Holly and Carlo happy to see you. And Elisabeth so excited to have her friend back. I really enjoyed this solo trip you made, well done! Glad to see you dad looking so well, too.

Hi Nicki and Carlo! I have been a subscriber enjoying your videos since early 2020 during the lockdown and, like so many of your subscribers, became completed entranced by the wonderful insight into your life in Positano and have so looked forward to each Sunday's episode! I've told all my friends and family about you and your wonderful videos and sent links so they can see for themselves. I am so thrilled to say I am now on holiday here in Sorrento and plan to visit Positano (along with lots of other places!) while we are here. I have dreamed of coming to the Amalfi Coast ever since I was a little girl and my auntie sent us a postcard when she was visiting here. I have just turned 58, so it's taken a good while for me to get here! But so, so worth the wait! We arrived last Friday for a two week stay in Hotel Minerva and when the gentleman showed us to our room and threw open the shutters to our balcony I gasped in delight at the amazing views we had and I haven't stopped smiling since! So thank you Nicki and Carlo and and sending good wishes to you both and all your family and friends who inspired me to finally make a dream come true by visiting this beautiful corner of Italy xx Michelle 💕

@@natasalazarevic9334 Order pizza only in real traditional pizzerias or in the best bakeries (the best), spaghetti with ragù (bolognaise style), spaghetti with seafood, fritto misto (a mix of fried seafood), Ravioli, Rigatoni in any way, focaccia pizza without tomatoes and add mozzarellas, buffalo mozzarella vith tomatoes, Prosciutto crudo, prosciutto cotto and salami with bread and mozzarella and melon and origan or basils, caprese, brusgehtta, and gelato and desserto from tiramisu to babà (the best). And anchovies on simple pizzas are very good
And order spaghetti with vongole (with or without tomatoes or with garlic souce), sfogliatella with cream, cornetti with cream, coffe with a lot of sugar (paradise). tell them you want a long coffee (not short). And in the evening at the end of eating, some shots of limoncello or better meloncello or pistacchio to drink!
And mix all well before eating and add olive oil always when you think is right. Add some spicy oil always if you like
Everybody missed you Nicki and you did seem to be excited to see everyone as they were to see you!!! Listening to Elizabeth talking about the sea and the beach in September was so nice. When I worked next to the water, long ago, I do remember the peaceful mornings making boat runs, I understand your description of being out there early, thanks I had forgotten about them.

I especially appreciate the planning that went into the drone shots of your return to town. Superb editing and story line. If I could order one of those olio d’oliva containers I would. I didn’t see on their website that they ship international. I am in the US, Colorado. No worries, I will be retiring in Italy in a few years. There will be plenty of time to take care of business then. This fall I am going to the Castiglion Fiorentino area south of Arezzo. Fall in the Apennines. Maybe in 2023 the Sorrento peninsula.
