The problem is the part 7 did not completely load. It only loaded just over a minute of footage. This small portion does play, but it is incomplete. Part 8 picks up with a good gap between the scenes. If you still have part 7 please reupload it.
The characters in the book obviously know that she is pregnant (as you said you can't miss that), but the author chose not to tell us, and surprise us instead.
Edgar does know that Catherine is ill,but like Nelly said,it is a self-induced illness, and he is probably trying to let it pass, either that or he is in denial.
I'm just wondering if she had some kind of illness that was caused by this pregnancy, my aunt had that and her son was born two months premature. I don't know what its called.
@hednostic2008 Yeah,I can see what you mean because in Catherine's whole famous "I am Heathcliff" speech,Catherine does tell Nelly that it would degrade her to marry Heathcliff due to his poor standard of living and poor social status.
"this is (Dee ?) who wishes to see y" it gets cut off abruptly and is out of sequence with part 8. Really looks like it is incomplete. Are you sure it is good like this? Thanks for your reply
Yes, so did I....I don't know if anyone has ever seen The Heiress, starring Olivia De Havilland, but she was very much like Heathcliff in some ways...a sweet young woman who became bitter and hard because of how she was treated by her father and her lover. There is a line which reminds stood out to me: 'Yes, I can be very cruel...I have been taught. By masters.'
If only they had Dr. Phil to sort this out.
great channel dedicated to Bronte sisters...thank you!!!

What is Edgar's problem? He doesn't seem to believe that Cathy is really ill.
The truth is that Edgar, didn't had any idea of her illness. Nelly didn't mention it to him.
woooooooow, how much did they jump?

the problem is still happening
I pity Edgar and Heathcliff
