Johnny, to me, is the best DM in any DnD series. They just have such an approachable way of running a game. Watching them navigate through the sheer chaos of Oxventure, with composure and wit, makes DMing seem leas scary and overwheling.
Johnny is such a great DM and i love the way things just become lore in Oxventure is such an inspiring thing. from one joke about space coming down at night leading to everyone needing personal oxygen supply or how guac is never extra with your nachos loved it when Rust first and how pure a being he is tha the made Corazon feel bad for being so competitive which i don't think has happened before or since
I can very confidently say that I'm a pupil of the Johnny Chiodini school of DMing. They're not only a great inspiration for TTRPGs, but also an inspiration to getting the nerve to come out as non-binary. Love you guys a lot!
I’d honestly found the idea of GMing daunting, but Johnny’s videos teaching Luke gave me the incentive to just jump in and have a go. They’re a great inspiration (and excellent at explaining thing clearly), though I’ll never be anywhere near as good at voices as they are!

Johnny as a DM won me at the very first episode. The whole bit with Merilwen and her cat form being allowed at level one "because it's fun".
Johnny rules, and I love their character Rust.
