NX Cantilever beam

This video demonstrates how to create, simulate and post-process a beam, shell and solid mesh of a simple cantilever beam in NX. It also compares the results of a static SOL 101 analysis and shows details on how to create, apply and orient beam cross sections. You will also learn how to create and mesh a mid-surface as well as inherit and display it's material and thickness from the solid model. Some smart NX postprocessing tools for shells and beams are also shown.
