Now this, is perfection.
Thank you!
This was honestly incredible! Well done guys! Can’t wait for Part 3 😱
Thanks so much!
The pumpkin Stein montage was such a unique and stylized editing choice that I think was perfectly done. Loved everything here, spot on and left me eager for Halloween time. So glad to finally see this out! Also, those kills were SICK. Lovely stuff from the McManus boys. 🎃
Thanks so much, guys! Really glad you liked it!
A long awaited masterpiece 🎃
Couldn't have done it without you!
Earned a subscriber. Love stuff like this
Thank you!
Bro, this is amazing!🔥🔥
Thanks so much!
The practical effects in this are seriously so damn good. It’s so great to see that gore in full practical glory. I hope this wins a ton of festivals because it absolutely ROCKS.
Thanks so much! We are definitely submitting to a few festivals, so hopefully it does well!
I didn't realize how legendary Pumpkinstein was until now. Good stuff, guys. Cinematography was on point. Clever use of a flashback. Keep up the good work! 🤘
Haha thank you! We loved Pumpkinstein, so we had to give him a bigger role in this one
The kills are so well done! 😫 I'm jealous. Can't wait to see where this goes.
Thanks so much!
It really was official when that sinister theme played: Halloween has begun.
Can I even explain the religious experience I just went though? The POV from the rake? THE KILLS???? I thought I was prepared but in the end I was certainly dead wrong, laying in my own pool of blood that drooled out of me during this cinematic masterpiece.
Truly a “Part II” down to its core. It’s nothing without the first, but it solidifies both as brother and sister, and I cannot, cannot, wait to see the day when Part III slashes it’s way into my life.
We can always except the best comments from Pilk Films. Thanks so much, we're really glad you enjoyed this!
@@LunarlightCinema also, though this should bare without mention, the editing was absolutely flawless along with the coloring. While I don’t know if the pumpkinstine reel was entirely perfectly fitting, I know that it’s editing definitely was. Crisp and clean. Kinda made me hate the guy even more than I did, which is always a benefit. Always look and listen my friend.
@@pilkfilms I agree with everything you said 🎃
A superbly splendid spooktastic sequel! Everything from the score (my compliments to Frank!), cinematography (love that split-screen!), lighting, practical effects, and love of the Halloween season makes this an immense blast to watch! The story is fun too, of course, but I dare not spoil it for others. You guys should all be proud!
Thank you so much, man! We really appreciate the kind words, and we're so glad you enjoyed it!
THIS WAS INCREDIBLE! The kills, the shots, the colors, the Halloween atmosphere, pumpkinstein, everything was perfect! I can't wait for part 3!
Thank you so much!
I love the widescreen and the use of lighting/colors! I'll enjoy watching this one again closer to Halloween :) Nice work!
Thank you!
Let's go!!!!
The kills were awesome, the pumpkin-Stein part was fuckin great too lmao
Thank you! We really appreciate it
Phenomenal work! Great direction, lighting, editing, Halloween atmosphere. I enjoyed the first one, but this entry brought it up to the next level.
Thanks so much! That really means a lot!
Bloodtober is close, the Halloween feeling is rising, Love it
It is very close indeed. Thank you! 🎃
So hyped
Wow! That was so creative compared to the first one 👏 really great job!
Thanks so much!
The Best Ever 💯👍😃
Thanks so much!
The Low Light looks fantastic!
This was so awesome!!! The first cop kill caught me by surprise!
This killer is so cool!
Great job as always! 🎃👏
Thank you! We really appreciate it
That was great! The story, the fx, the laughs. Nice job!
Thank you!
This is so good! I wonder what could've been done with this production if it was a full-length movie
Thanks so much! We hope to one day adapt this into a feature length film
This was awesome! 🎃
Thank you!
Visuals were great! Love the vibe of the film man you really pull of that 80's slasher aesthetic. The kills were great you had me cringe with the first kill on the younger officer! and lastly the score was well done.
Thanks so much, we really appreciate it!
YES! 5 STARS! Can't wait for part 3!
Thank you!
@@LunarlightCinema Of course! You upped the game with that kill of the younger officer being sliced! 🔥
Thanks again! Really glad you liked it, that was our favorite kill we did!
You all should be promoting the hell outta this. This is good stuff.
Thanks so much, we really appreciate that!
Loved the editing style in both of these films. Fantastic work! Also, great kills/effects. Nicely done. Watching these both back to back is a must! Here's to hoping for a part 3. And if and when part 3 is done, here's to hoping for a supercut of them all together since 1 and 2 could fit together nicely as one film!
Thanks so much! A supercut of all 3 parts is actually exactly what we have planned!
@@LunarlightCinema Oh, love to hear it! I'll be looking forward to it.
Really awesome stuff. Really loved the cinematography!
Thank you!
As good as the first! Loved every bit of this one!!
Thank you!
Really great job guys. Bring on Part III
Thank you! Part III will definitely happen!
Just finished my reaction to it. Dude, you guys really outdid yourselves on this! KUDOS!
Thanks so much man! We can't wait to see your reaction!
I just stumbled onto these Slash O Lantern short films and I freakin' LOVE THEM!! The scenery, camera work, acting, timing, sound, back ground noise, music, kills, special effects is all well done. You guys are talented, I want more. I love how two continued from the first. I liked how the tv was on in the background, the radio host slashula, it would be cool to see his character come in talking about the events that just took place. I would definitely love to see a whole feature film done and be able to own on VHS, that would be amazing. You guys ROCK, Keep up the Amazing work, oh and your production name is sick too 'Lunarlight Cinema' that's a fantastic name.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate the kind words!
I F***king LOVE IT!!!
Holy Fuckin Shit!!! The machete to the crotch death was so SICK! Amazing work guys! Can’t wait for your next project!
Thanks so much!
now that was amazing 🎬🍿
Thanks so much!
Fantastic. When the car hits him, it was funny as fuck. Very well shot film. That music is catchy as well. Great work again.
Thanks again!
great job guys! Camera work and Lighting looks excellent. you should just keep adding to this until you have a feature and sell it .
Thanks guys, we really appreciate it! Maybe some day we'll have enough to edit all together as a feature.
Nice I gotta see part 1 to this
Thanks! I would definitely recommend watching part 1, since it leads directly into this one.
Ok thank u
A good sequel. The tongue in cheek approach really works here. Great practical effect too. The pumpkin stein montage was cool, but would have been punchier if it was shorter.
Subbed for future releases. 🙌
Thank you! We really appreciate the feedback and the sub. I think you're right, but we had so much fun with the Pumpkinstein montage that we kept adding more to it haha.
@@LunarlightCinema ha, I can see why you would there's some really funny stuff in there.
Good montage and good réalisation ✨
Thanks!
Loved this! Perfect Halloween vibes! What lens did you shoot on? Excited for what comes next!
Thank you so much! This was shot almost entirely with the Lumix 12-35mm
FUCK YES LETS GOOOOO
Really liked this one too, well done guys! 😊 That intro with the rap music was great, nice edit there as well… When is part 3 coming out? 😗😄
Thanks again! We've got a few other projects in mind before we start on part 3. Maybe sometime next year!
@@LunarlightCinema Ok, cool! looking forward to following your future projects 😊
Never mind I think I've found pt.1 thanks anyway I'm sure part 1 will be just as good now its on to pt.3
Thanks for checking it out!
Is it possible for me to watch the first one this was pretty good but I'd never heard of the first one only this one if you can provided a link to the first movie it would be good keep up the good work and let's hope for a pt.3
Hey, did you get a copyright claim for the audio in Night of the Living Dead? Because I did when I tried using it for a film. Which makes no sense considering it's public domain.
No, we didn't get a copyright claim. That's definitely strange!
@@LunarlightCinema yeah I even tried disputing it and they denied it! I don't know what to do!
Hi, do you need post-production with special effects for the business channel or promotion of the channel in RUclips trends where millions of viewers and potential clients will see it?
Loved the short feature by the way! I have a serious inquiry and would like to know is there a business email we can chat through?
Thank you! It's lunarlightcinema@yahoo.com
