I LOVE ronin warriors too cant wait for my boy Kento of the hard rock. He was always my favorite armor. I hope we get villians and an ancient one (with original and anubis head)
I got the Inferno Armor not too long ago and just got my Ryo of the Wildfire today, but when I didn't see the package in front of my Apartment door, I was a bit concerned so I went my building's main door and it wasn't there either so I got into my car went after the FedEx truck to see if he took it back to deliver it another day, but he said he delivered it, I was FREAKING OUT thinking my package was stolen because my building has a history of peoples packages being stolen and asked 1 of my neighbors to see if he grabbed it for me and he didn't, but then he checked somewhere else and managed to find it and brought it back and now my sprit can finally move back into my body and my mind can start calming down.
I wish they had worked out the hips slightly differently (maybe a drop down?) But im sure sentinel knows what there doing and gave him those hip jointa for a reason. Great review toy bro
When the series first aired in the states I was about 15. I collected almost all the orginal playmates toy action figures and because of my 5 year old brother and the prolong use the armor pieces would get broken or lost. Fast forward to 2020 and I'm watching your review, I now need this figure!! I wonder if sentinel toys will decide to create the rest of the characters because Anubis and the Ogre armor was my favorite and would love to have him as well. Great job on the review! Like I said on Twitter, wasn't familiar with Ronin Warriors, but was curious about this figure. Very nice job. Warning, though, I have a few Sentinel figures, they can be a bit fiddly at times, especially the more you play with them.
How would you as a fellow fan feel about an always armored version of the character? I know armoring up is part of these guys schtick (the powers in the armor..) but i feel like i would be okay with a version the was designed with the armor, so it would be more secure and maybe more poseable in armor (less worry about pieces falling off) and then they could sell two version of every character
I'd hope for a bandai anime heroes wave of the Ronin's permanently armored, but I'm not holding my breath for that. Ronin Warriors is pretty obscure these days.
I have the Armour Plus one and unfortunately missed out on the rest of the team. Not letting that happen again. Really hoping they do the Warlords!! My Bandai Ryo met with an unfortunate cat accident and his individual swords were destroyed, so this is more of a replacement. Looks great, super excited. Thanks for the review!
I don't know why nobody poses Rio in his flare up pose with his double edged blade in both his hands ? And it can be done the figure is flexible enough and looks amazing my figure is posed this way. Put the hands in hot water and you can slightly move the thumbs enough to put the blade, put the hands on the blade first then connect the hands to his arms and pose
UGH this always happens. I loved the Bandai armor up line and spent through the nose money to get a Ryo figure and then Sentinel released these. the only good news is the one I got was a limited release one so it comes in a darker red/more metallic looking armor which looks really nice (just isn't show accurate)
Bandai had done this figure looking like this ages ago, since I missed it then I had this Sentinel one on preorder but the prices on Sentinel figures are so high that I let it pass. It's a nice figure that is drinking to deep from the Bandai fountain, half the price would be an ok price point for a piece like this one and I'm assuming all the armor pieces are diecast. I like some of the Sentinel figures but their price points are incredibly high so I've been passing on them so far. Thanks for the review.
This is such a disappointing figure. I missed out on the original release and I loved the show growing up. They should of just made a non transformable version instead of copy catting Bandai. For $125 I would NEVER buy this figure. You did a great job with the review. Very professional and much appreciated. Some reviewers could take some notes from this video.
I had the original toys and some armor pieces would be to tight and some so loose they would just fall off. I bought them at big lots back in the day they were really cheap maybe $4 each. I also had all the episodes recorded on VHS tapes 😂
Dude, I like your videos, I like the way you talk and how you show the figures, but you should definitely rethink this orange background. This color doesn't look good with most figures, like this Ryo and the last Mythic Legions you showed. I understand that you may want to create an identity with this color, but it is not pleasing to the eye and does not create contrast with the figures. Try a white background or something else. It's just a suggestion. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻

I think I'd have been ok with an "always armored" version if the price was lower to compensate for that.

Compare to the armor plus...which one is better? The armor plus' armor looks glossy and metallic, and this one looks like it's plastic.

No comparison with bandai's. I have a whole lot of Armor Plus Ronin Warriors.
The year is 2020 and they can't make a figure without those horrible ball hip joints. I was excited for this until I saw that.
