So sorry that we have lost Tompall on 08/13/13. He was one of the best. And with his brothers the group was incomparable. No one has come close to their mellow sound except their nephews. If you listen to the Brothers Glaser CD they sound so much like their uncles treo it's amazing. My sympathies to Tompall's family
Tompall is the greatest singer I have heard. In country music anyway. His ballads bring tears to my eyes. His nephews Brothers Glaser sing this song very good also. I never could stop listening to Tompall and his brothers sing. I love George Jones and Merle Haggard but Tompall I double love.
This is so beautiful. Tompall makes me cry when he sings. There just is not anyone that can sing as good. They have the best harmony and no one comes close. I can't say enough. I love their voice especially Tompall's.
Are these guy's really not in the Country Hall of Fame. How is that possible??? Never heard better harmonies and smoothlie blending voices. Never heard a bad song of them. Come ons CMA elect them or else it's a crying shame!!
Other than Marty Robbins, there has never been a greater singer than the Great Tompall, and the harmony of the group is amazing. A very touching video. Thank you so much for posting.
This is really a very beautiful song. Tompall sang it with all his heart. He was such an amazing singer. I agree with you Carol, he takes my breath away as well. Always has and always will. RIP
Tompall makes my eyes wet with his golden voice. We lost the best of the best. I still love you after all these years. Your music is always with me and in my heart. I love you guys. We will never see anything that equals Tompall and his bothers. Rest in pace, Tompall.
There's never been a bettner group & I doubt there ever will be.. They're awesome.. It's sad that Tompall is gone now, but I know I'll hear him in Heaven some day.. 😜😜😜
These guys out sing all groups, singles, or anyone else. Even the statlers don's hold a candle to them. I am 65. Heard a lot of great music in my life, but nothing any prettier than this, and they do it with such class.
These three take my breath away! They are simply magnifacent! Sorry I never got to see them in concert. I think they never came to Abilene, Tx. I went to all the concerts that came there in the time period these guys were touring. I saw many country singers but I know I missed the very best!!!
I agree totally and also wish there were more videos. It's almost like there is a "Glaser Brothers" shaped hole missing from todays music. I've been glued to their music for about a year now much to the bemusement of my husband. Tell your wife at least one other person does not think you are going nuts!
I sure wish I had found these guys when they were playing! I only found them about 2 months ago!! I had to by every album I could find!!! Wish I could get these videos!!! Hope to see more!!!!! Great harmony! My wife thinks I have gone nuts!! I have over these guys!!!
There are no words to express how beautiful this song is. All of their songs are the best of the best. I wish there were more of their music and videos available.
A great group and good songs , I am sad that they are no longer with us , love their music . The harmony is really good. The only bonus is that I Met Tompall in the uk when he toured and managed to speak to him. A nice guy .
We got older my friend and music died on music row. The heart felt song's we loved so much became something the younger generation just didn't want to feel.
Thanks for the videos. The glasers were unsurpassed by no one. Rather they surpassed everyone else. Goodby Tompall. We love you and always will play your music. We love you too, Jim and Chuck. Keep up the good work. I try to follow you on youtube.
I to thank you for posting these-my dad was a huge Glaser Brother fan-he and his life long friend sang and performed many of their songs as well as Marty Robbins songs--Rode to Alberque(sp)is one of the most beautiful songs ever..I as a boy grew up listening to them and have always thought they were ahead of their time with their style perhaps that's is why they were never as recognized as they should've been.
I'm a big Glaser Bros fan. Nobody could sing any better than they could. They each had a great voice & together they beat any group I ever heard. Thank you so much for posting their songs. I was very surprised when I saw how many songs they'd written.
Linda, after listening to a bunch of Tompall and the Glaser Brothers,I think this is one of the top on my list of favorites. My husband died when we had been married 40 years, and *after all these 29 years * I still love and miss him!
+Dorothy Douglas i know exactly what you mean my true and only love has been gone 3 years after 30 yrs of him in my life and I still am in love with him and miss him so much we had a band and these songs were always songs we played. it is sometimes comforting hearing them and closing my eyes and imagining him singing them
+sabiansatchel, I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand your loneliness and the same loving memories that I do when I play these sentimental songs from Tompall and The Glasers. They give me a tenderness I can't explain. My best wishes to you for a good Christmas and happiness in the new year.
Linda, you and Carol and me are the biggest fans (I think) of these Awsome guys. Glad someone else loves them like I do. Thank you weeze1124 These videos are my fav over all the videos online.
Helen, Tompall is my "Elvis". I adore him and his music, with or without his brothers. Did you know that weeze1124 is Jim's son? (I'm pretty sure I'm right about that). I can't think of better company to be in than Carol and yourself. :)
Not so fast, Lady. I´ve been addicted to him and his brothers since about 1979. The importance is that we´re spreading their outstanding music to the younger generation. Believe me, I´m doin´ it all the time...
Absolutely, my friend. I follow all your posts and I know you like the same music as I do. We definitely need to keep spreading their music around, otherwise some of the younger folks will never know what real country music sounds like. They were the cream of the crop as far as I am concerned. Keep an listening. FYI I bought my first album in 1979 as well!!! Take care.
linda donahue You´re the Lady! Have u seen "The history of country music- waylon jennings"? Good ole Tompall appears a couple of times there. If you havn´t heard John Conlee " I don´t remember loving you" live, I´m pretty sure you´re gonna like it. Keep in touch...
Don't believe I've seen that. Is it on RUclips? Are you talking about the CMT documentary on the "Outlaws"? I will definitely check out that tune by John Conlee. I trust your taste is music, my friend. Later.
Well, l prefer Mickey Newbury's version. Tompall wouldve been better singing this song on his own, just like " When l dream ", which seems a more personal message. .
Helen Foster? I am another Carol that cannot be topped as a Tompall & Bros. fan. I will listen to them sing the phone book as Linda so eloquently puts it. : )
Who's leading the campaign to get these guys into the CM Hall of Fame? Until they are inducted that institution is incomplete. The Glasers were the BEST group of all time, from their early days backing Marty Robbins right up until 8/13/13.
To find three guys who could sing together like this is incredible - to find them in a single family is truly a gift from God.
So sorry that we have lost Tompall on 08/13/13. He was one of the best. And with his brothers the group was incomparable. No one has come close to their mellow sound except their nephews. If you listen to the Brothers Glaser CD they sound so much like their uncles treo it's amazing.

I'd never heard this beautiful love song by anyone but Mickey Newbury. How could it have been overlooked?
Tompall's voice was beautiful and Jim and Chuck did beautiful harmony. I was so sorry to learn that Jim died April 9th. R.I.P., Jim. Margie Tripp
This is so beautiful. Tompall makes me cry when he sings. There just is not anyone that can sing as good. They have the best harmony and no one comes close. I can't say enough. I love their voice especially Tompall's.
The emotion these fellers put into their songs is incredible and their harmonies are unbeatable!! R.I.P. boys - you've earned it!
Are these guy's really not in the Country Hall of Fame. How is that possible??? Never heard better harmonies and smoothlie blending voices. Never heard a bad song of them. Come ons CMA elect them or else it's a crying shame!!
Doesn't get any better than these guy's ... I miss them forever!
One of their most beautiful songs..and the harmony is perfect.
The harmony in this song is breathtaking. This is truly "soul" music. I wish the brothers could have made music forever.
linda donahue :
My Favorite.
Some things only come along once...I don't think we'll ever see another group like this or hear this kind of musical magic.RIP Tompall..
The brothers had such beautiful harmony - unbelieveable! And Tompall sung his heart out on this one - you could hear the emotion in his voice.
RIP
Their singing is so great, it makes my heart ache!
Mickey Newberry wrote a terrific song. Tompall's interpretation with the sadness and hunger in his voice just emphasized the emotion of the song.
The best country harmony every no one can come close to thee boys every
Tompall makes my eyes wet with his golden voice. We lost the best of the best. I still love you after all these years. Your music is always with me and in my heart. I love you guys. We will never see anything that equals Tompall and his bothers. Rest in pace, Tompall.

A beautiful song! The voices are so beautiful!
Beautiful song, beautifully sang by The Glaser Brothers. Thanks for the wonderful memories
One of Mickey Newbury's finest compositions performed by the mighty Tompall and the Glaser Brothers... as good as it gets.
These guys are the Bee Gees of country. Even with one brother always listening to a monitor in one ear, like Robin Gibb.
These guys out sing all groups, singles, or anyone else. Even the statlers don's hold a candle to them. I am 65. Heard a lot of great music in my life, but nothing any prettier than this, and they do it with such class.
So true
Have you heard “Brothers of the Heart?” Their harmonies are awesome. The Glaser Brothers were fabulous also!

Where did the Country music I love lose its way and go the way it did ??? This is how it should be.
Country music was murdered on music row Alan Jackson and George Strait 😠!
simply fantastic love this song from the great tompall and brothers thanks for this lovely post

My favorite of all their performances, I could listen over and over. Thank you for being there to record it, weeze.
such a great song by great singers.
So beautiful!
Brings tears, their voices are the best
Wish radio stations would play Glaser brother's records. There is no country music nor singers today, they are trash.
Amazing!
Totally awesome
Beautiful
This is one of the most beautiful songs and performances I’ve ever heard. ❤

The worst day of my entire life, March 29, 2013.
Married for 54 years, February 6th 1959❤️
BRILLIANT LOVE IT
Fantastic
There's none better...

Wow! Incredible harmony.
Would love to "Baby ,They're Plying Our Song". One of my favorites!
I love this. Barbara mandrel also did her version. It's so beautiful
Excellent. Thanks to all who share.

Sure looks as if we all have very good tastes of the best!
2023. Still loving these guys...❤️

LOVE IT PURE COUNTRY
Awesome!
So great to hear their harmonies again, Do you have them singing, 'Will there be any stars in my crown?' Thank you for posting these videos.

Best of the best
Let me correct a post below. The Glasers were not surpassed by any singer or groups, ever.
a fine Mickey Newbury penned song.
I love Jim's voice. Why didn't he sing lead?
Because Tompall is better.
@@robertcullison2941 I prefer Jim's voice. It's so clear.
In my opinion Tompall had the strongest voice. Jim had a great range though
i dedicate this song to my jerry
Please, Please put on I-tunes
Jim passed away overnight.
I heard. So sad.
WHY DID YOU MES UP HIS FACE???????
What are you talking about?
WHY WAS CHUCK CONSTANTLY EDGED OUT, HE HAD TO FIGHT FOR AN INCH OF SPACE WHEN THEY LET HIM SING!!!!!
He was not edged out Chuck had a stroke a few months previous , you'll find he has a dead left arm , but his singing is as good as ever
A lot of ifs
I DON'T !!!!!!! I THINK YOU NEED A GOOD SYCO DOCTOR !!!!!!!
