20 years later my kenmore side by side bought from Sears for $800 still works like new. Buy a refrigerator from a company that knows how to make refrigerators, buy a stove from a company that knows stoves (GE). STOP bundling appliance's to save a buck, or because it looks fancy. Different companies know how to make different products!
Samsung needs to be blacklisted from selling new fridges in the United States. Their corporate appliance branch is probably making out like bandits.
I just finished for the third time taking my french door Samsung refrigerator apart so I could melt the ice covering the whole back side. Now I am having trouble getting the unit to reset. I've pushed both refrigerator and freezer buttons at the same time several times like I was told by Samsung's customer service, but still no luck getting it to restart. I WOULDN'T BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR IF IT WAS ENDORSED BY GOD.
Saw you post on you tube bought our Samsung in 2015 nothing but trouble wife and I in military not home much. Now retired and ice maker trouble and freezer trouble. Now freezer and refrig died . Any advice we are going crazy cause babies breast milk needs temp control now in a cooler in garage. Respectfully Henry
I own a 2017 Samsung well-known defected refrigerator & it sits in my father’s garage because it no longer works. I had mold growing. Icemaker freezes up and no longer works ICE in between the twin cooling panel underneath all of the drawers in refrigerator in freezer the temperature would say one thing and the thermometer was hotter than what the temperature on the panel said , I had to replace my kitchen floors because of the water leak . Threw away thousands of dollars worth of food besides hard earned money spent on the appliances and food and right now it’s it’s in my father’s garage doesn’t even work. Samsung won’t do anything for me even though I complained a lot went through New Jersey’s Better Business Bureau loss three times. New Jersey’s AG filed with them, filed with Missouri AG and they are worthless and I voted for him . Filed with cpsc and etc nothing. Don’t buy appliances from cell phone companies. Wish I I had known, never listening to the appliance salesman at Best Buy’s again.
I have been lied to find the third-party company that Samsung hires and I still think Samsung is paying the better business barrel off in New Jersey !!!
Is there any updates to this problem with Samsung? I have been experiencing the same thing, even after it was "repaired"...
Glad I trusted my gut feeling and went with a Kenmore. Buy appliances from companies that know how to make them, not cell phone companies 🤣🤣🤣

Customers can complain to the store (Home Depot, etc.), Better Business Bureau, their state's attorney general, Samsung (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
I don't like the top loader 2-load washing machine. It gets unbalanced often and can take _hours_ to finish. The microwave "paint" is peeling on top. The fridge says it's 37°F but food (not all of it, of course) gets moldy.
Perhaps they should stick to phones and TVs. B-
Its about time
The very last thing I bought from Samsung was the Samsung Front Load Washer and it's been 7 years old and current under warranty of Sears All Home Warranty!
I could have bought the Samsung frig but got attracted to LG instaview depth counter max although expectedly having problem next 4 years until then would be Whirlpool Frig (my last Whirlpool frig was 13 years old with minor issue like replacements of icemaker, ice crusher and everything was running perfect until replaced by LG frig - I missed my Whirlpool ..maybe 4 years later LG fail to get Whirlpool again LoL)
All appliance companies are required to have energy efficient units to meet federal requirements. Whirlpool is the only U.S. appliance company that has survived these ridiculous regulations. To meet the requirements they all use low quality materials, compressors, etc. They are like new cars...they are throw away JUNK!
I feel so foolish. I just bought thus unit 2 days ago. OMG, I didn't know.
our samsung had its water filter that was in the fridge compartment freeze and crack and flood the house. we are lucky the water did not reach the wood floors. we dont use that water feature anymore.
