- I traveled on Embraer E195-E2 demonstrator from Ft Lauderdale to Kennedy Space Center Shuttle landing facility. Check out all the new features on the new generation E2 Jet from the cockpit to the cabin. Step inside the E-Jet with an all new concept interior design. Watch how the pilot fly the Embraer E-Jet.
After landing on the long 15,0001 ft space shuttle landing runway, I visited NASA Kennedy Space Center with a former astronaut, Winston Scott. Winston explained how it feel walking in Orbit and gave some great advice to young aspiring aviators.
Kudos to people of Brazil and the Embraer team. Developing wide range of aircraft and pioneering it is a very big achievement for the country.

Embraer has really wanted to provide the comforts on an international plane on a regional one. Moreover, the cockpit is innovative with a lot of switches being replaced by touch screen displays. This plane is what you call an all-rounder focused on creating the desired environment and flexibility for customers, pilots, crew and the airline itself. As the name suggests this will truly be a profit hunter for Embraer.
The painting of that aircraft is really awesome.

I love the Embraer E jets however Virgin Australia phased them out and passengers loved them because of the 2-2 configuration and extra leg room in economy, I guess it was too good to be true to be comfortable in economy

What a beautiful landing and filming! Aviation is in the DNA of Brazilians, Bartolomeu Lourenço was the first Brazilian inventor and scientist, famous for creating the hot air balloon in 1709. In 1901, a Brazilian from Minas Gerais Alberto Santos Dumont built and piloted balloon "n.º 6" , with a 16 HP engine, made the first trip around the Eiffel Tower, receiving the Deutsch Prize. In 1905, Santos Dumont began testing heavier-than-air aircraft. In 1906, his airplane invention "14 Bis", was the world's first "heavier-than-air aircraft" to take off, without being propelled by a catapult, assisted by members of the International Aeronautical Federation (FAI), winning both awards in France and world prominence. In 1907, Santos Dumont builds the "Demoiselle", whose design would serve as a model for all the designers that followed and was the first airplane produced in series in the world. In 1945, Casimiro Montenegro Filho, from Fortaleza, Ceará, presented the future campus of the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), in Brazil, the embryo of a high-level school in the country, after the creation of the Centro Técnico de Aeronáutica (CTA), in 1950. Their dream came true with the creation of Embraer, the third largest aircraft manufacturer in the world and the largest manufacturer of commercial jets with up to 150 seats in the world, among other companies in the area of aerospace and defense. In 2009, during the LAAD defense fair, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) and Embraer signed the contract for the development of the KC-390. The Embraer C-390 Millennium is a multi-mission military transport aircraft for tactical/logistical transport, in-flight refueling and forest fire fighting. First flight on February 3, 2015. FAB has 21 units on its order for the Embraer KC-390 Millennium aircraft. The Embraer KC-390 Millennium is manufactured in Gavião Peixoto, in the interior of São Paulo. The first F-39 Gripen fighter produced by Embraer de Gavião Peixoto in Brazil will be delivered in 2024. Aircraft will be produced in partnership with the Swedish company Saab, the program started in 2013 by the Brazilian government. FAB (Brazilian Air Force) ordered 40 fighter jets.
I was present when they did the re-painting at the Embraer facility near Araraquara. Real good job.

I love flying on Embraer jets. My first was an e175 with 2-1 configuration in economy. Having that 1 seat was really nice.
Are you sure it was a 175? That cabin is very wide for a regional and features 2-2 seating. The 145 is smaller and has 2-1.

Winston Scott seems like such an impressive person. To do, experience and achieve what he has done, and yet be so humble and enthusiastic down on the ground... the world has a lot to learn from people like him!

I really like the staggered configuration in Business Class. I wish all regional jets were like that.

Awesome video Sam! Also nice to see Captain Winston Scott here. Captain Scott is a great guy and in addition to being a naval aviator and astronaut, he's also a professional musician (he plays trumpet) and has his own jazz group.

This aircraft made its arrival in my city after a few months of touring the world. He arrived in Florianoópolis, Brazil and then took off to São José dos Campos where the Embraer factory is located. Congratulations on the video and interview them with Comandate Prust.

I recently flew on the Embraer 195 E2, a very quiet and comfortable, impressive aircraft.
That livery is the best one I have ever seen on an airplane. Big fan of it!

I remember the very first time I flew on these Embraer jets (e 175) in Brazil, it felt really really special, I felt like I was in an executive aircraft! Really good finishing of the cab and also quiet environment!

to be honest that runway at the Kennedy space centre does make it more easy. you basically can't find a runway longer and ideally made then those that where build for the Shuttle.

I think that probably the E190-E2 is my favourite as its small but has big engines and it just looks pleasing to the eye

They are advertising it as a 'profit hunter' for airlines, not the manufacturer. Airlines are the prospective buyers. Low operating costs, flexible specs, high pax ability = $$$ for airlines.

I use to fly with the E175 and I simply love it. The configuration 2-2 is perfect and the space between the seat is great for people tall like me.
I would love if all the airplanes have the same comfort and spacious like the Embraer planes.

Agree, my all time favorite is the 747 then 777 and last the 737 ! I live in Seattle , so am biased !
