Made one similar colour to yours and won first prize and a special prize at my local show here in The Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia 2 weeks ago. Thanks for the video, love watching you crochet so smoothly. Will be making my 2 sisters in law one of these for our coming winter 👍✖️

I've completed this adorable little vest 😍. Thank you very much for the pattern. Unfortunately I found it impossible to complete from the tutorial. It was way to fast. And it was not demonstrated clearly how and where stitches were being done. I'm a visual learner but even with pausing I just couldn't keep up I had to start again 3 times. Having said that it forced me to follow the written pattern which I had avoided so far. So thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone, as I now feel confident to follow a pattern in the future. Thanks again it really is a lovely pattern and an enjoyable little project 💜

Just a suggestion for you - there is a little button on the bottom to the right of the button that says CC. It looks like a cogwheel. If you click it you can set your playback speed to slow down for you. You also can usually push your left arrow button on your keyboard and it will rewind around 10 seconds so you can see it again. I do this all the time!!!

SLOW THE SPEED AND YOU'LL GET IT. I didn't even know you could slow it down until I saw one of the comments on here! I can't stress enough how much of a difference it makes. I also had the written pattern open so I could refer to it if I needed to. Row 9? Not a problem! Also, don't feel like y'all can't use stitch markers so you know where the round should end. It's just not always easy to see, so use 'em! (BTW - after having it slowed down for a while I put it back on "Normal" and she does talk pretty fast. hahaha)

Jesus...this is why I just stay away from the comment section all together most of the time. First off....if you want to be really simple...there's a pause button for a reason, when I was starting out following videos like this and even now 3 years later you listen to a section, you pause you do the section you continue. For the more tech advanced you can even adjust the playback speed the go a little slower....it's really not as hard as some of you people are trying to make it. Work smarter not harder...

Well said.. Why dont people understand the hard work the uploader took to post this free video.. Its absolutely beginner type video.. The presenter even tell you the exact number of stitches should be there by end of each row. what's more people are looking fir ? A face? Yarn n hook advertisement/endirsement? Get a life dude.. And Ms Presenter .. You are doing fabulous jod. Keep it up and god bless you!

I do too even if I disagree on a point : everyone is allow to say a comment as it stays polite and respectful. That's how we improve. For exemple, I'm not a beginner, not advanced too and this patern is awesome. But (yes because there is a but) english is not my native langage and sometime she speaks really fast and as she also crochet very fast it's hard. Anyway it's still great from her and I will put on repea-pea-pea-peat like Selena said.

Bless your heart, I am an experienced crocheter, but by row 6 I’m feeling so frustrated I’m stopping to write a quick note. When you’re ending one row and starting a new row your fingers are covering up the stitches you’re working into so I can’t see where they should go in. I’m trying to stop the video, but it’s very challenging to catch the millisecond spots where your fingers are out of the way and I can get a good view of where the stitches should be going! Just a brief slow down and change the camera angle so it’s easy to see where the stitches are being put would help a lot in the future. You’re doing a great job and the actual stitch combinations are super easy to do, but as you know it’s in the turning where the troubles come from. It also helps if you keep your words in sync with what you are demonstrating- about halfway through it gets a little frustrating because I’m trying to visually follow what you’re doing while your words are way ahead of where you’re at- kind of like it was added in later. Thanks for your efforts I’m sure it is challenging!

It's a gorgeous pattern and I was hoping to make it for myself. I did 4 rounds and then only after reading the comments below did I find out that it was for a child. Also, usually on patterns when a round is started, the chaining you begin with is counted as the first stitch. As far as I could tell it didn't appear to be so on the video, so I was a little confused. Maybe I missed something but would appreciate it clarifying in order to keep the stitch count accurate.

I am not a beginner and I get this pattern, but I TOTALLY understand that this teacher goes waaay to fast for beginners, and it turns people off from watching her videos, this is a shame for her. she needs to do more then 'show one pattern in the round' then jumps to the next round. To the people that says, "there is a pause button", when a teacher goes this quickly, no matter the pause, it's hard to see what she is doing when going so fast. please encourage fellow crocheters that are new to this craft. We all have been new at one time, no matter the 'pause', if someone is going to fast, they will not get it, and they will want to give up. If you are a new crocheter and this teacher is moving to fast and you don't understand a stitch, there are teachers on RUclips who will teach how to do the stitch. please don't give up, I understand. x

I agree with many comments that the tutorial is very hard to follow. A closer look at the stitches would help much more. It's helpful to consider that you may be addressing beginners with a simpler and mor concise approach. I'm considering scrapping the project after the round where you're placing 3 half doubles across 3 stitches, one being the chain space. I'm stuck and confused 😕

Could you please move your fingers and pause so we can see where and how you made the last stitch in the round? There is no other way to see it. I have been crocheting for 35 years and still don't catch it n your video. Thank you in advance.

When you chain 21 for your first sleeve, be very careful when you count the 7 sets of chain 3 spaces to skip Below it, so you do not count the chain space that your chain 21 originates from, as one of the 7 that you’re skipping! It’s an easy mistake to make, especially since her thumb is covering up that space the entire time she counts out her 7 skipped spaces so you can’t see whether she is counting the space that the chain 21 originates from as one of the 7 or not! I learned the hard way that, that space is NOT being counted as one of the 7 you skip!!🤪I had to tear everything out about five rows later when I realized the holes for the sleeves were different by one stitch size!
