@niaux78 Hello, for our purposes there are two very general species of drinkable coffee. Robusta and Arabica. Robusta as its name suggests is a stronger plant, it is more resistant to disease, can grow in direct sunlight, and has generally higher yields. Robusta tends to have higher caffeine content and yields a simple cup that is often more bitter than Arabica. Arabica on the other end is high grown and yields a much more complex cup of coffee. Specialty coffee can only be 100% arabica.

Hi,first of all thanks for this video; i´m going to buy this machine and I have a question: what kind of coffee should I buy? I was reading about problems with some kind of arabica? thanks

Typically we use whole milk, 3.25 or 3.75% but to tell you the truth I cannot remember exactly what we used in this demo.

I realize you posted this a while ago, but do you have a general grind preference (coarse, medium, fine) for espresso on this machine?

emosucks89 Generally it is a medium setting. If you grind finer then you can get the coffee tasting a little stronger but it sometimes jams the grinder, especially if you use an oily coffee. We recommend medium roasts that are not oily for super automatic machines. Set the grinder to your taste preference too.

I'm also finding that I like the medium grind setting the best, the fine setting starts to get a somewhat "bitter" aftertaste. I'll definitely keep the medium roast advice in mind as well, it makes perfect sense in retrospect. I just got a refurbished machine, so I can't imagine one bag of dark/oily beans will hurt it, but I'll go with medium from now on. Thanks for the quick reply!

What does he flashing red light mean

    • @LunaSimtea

It means you need to wait till the gran light comes on or that something needs to happen (such as being sure that there is water in the tank or that the hopper for the coffee is completely closed)
