So if anyone is confused, the 9th and 10th seed play for a chance to be the 8th seed and the 7th and 8th seed play for the 7th seed. The winner between the 7th and 8th seed solidify as 7th and the loser plays the winner between the 9th and 10th to solidify as the 8th seed. In other words, the 9th or 10th seed has to win two in a row to enter playoffs, and the 7th or 8th seed has to lose two in a row to leave playoffs. Games are played at the higher seed's court

It's doesn't make sense. If 8 teams go to the playoffs you have them already. So why are you giving a chance to the 9th and 10seed for. Think about that. They helping someone who's not I'm the playoffs. To have a chance to beat someone who's already in the playoffs. That's all the way dumb. And unfair to the 7th and 8th seed

I think the 7th seed should play the 10th seed for 7th and the 8th and 9th seeds should play each other for the 8th seed. I would have the lower seeds have to win 2x while the higher seeds have to win once to make the playoffs.

I like the play in. More teams are involved in trying to get into the playoffs. In a nutshell If you are a 7th or 8th seed you must win 1 sudden death game to go into the playoffs as the 7th seed. If you are the 9th or 10th seed you must win 2 sudden death games to go into the playoffs as the 8th seed.

How the NBA Play-In Tournament works
-This goes for both conferences
-There will be 6 games
-The 7th seed will host 8th seed
Game 1: Eastern 7-8 Game
Game 2: Western 7-8 Game
The winner will take 7th seed to take on 2nd seed, the loser will go to the East/West Play-In
-The 9th seed will host 10th seed
Game 3: Eastern 9-10 Game
Game 4: Western 9-10 Game
The winner will fight for 8th seed in the East/West Play-In, loser eliminated
-The Loser of the 7-8 game will host the Winner of 9-10 game
Game 5: East Play-In
Game 6: West Play-In
The winner will take 8th seed to take on 1st seed, loser eliminated
